Internet keeps going in and out of service in the last few days very frustrating should get a discount for all the time being down but probably won't happen

been with them for many years. Boerne is growing quickly and the infrastructure is trying to play catchup, I get it. That being said, they have always been responsive and absolutely on top of it for us as customers. I don't expect downtown big city internet speeds because this isn't a downtown big city. But for where we are, GVTC is 100% the way to go. Always talk to a person when I call, technicians are always respectful and completely resolve issues on the rare occasion they do have come out. Can't ask for more.

GVTC in the city of Boerne is, for the most part monopolized. Many people in Boerne are stuck using just one company for both internet and cable. Tech support, treats users like children, in addition to frequency in service outage, with no additional discounts or apologies. Again we ask ourselves who els can we request? Here is a famous line I here " Wireless is never a guarantee."

Internet speed is okay 6/10. Their apps are very hard to use they look like they haven't updated them since 2009. Hard to use and slow. I am only using them because is the only company that provides Internet to my location.

Worst service ever. Off more than on. Incompetent tech support. Service calls have me up an running, for a few hours or days, then off more than on again. No option but them in my area. SAD!

So...I had recently called to get service , the customer rep I spoke to , very kind , Maria got me set up. I got my 1st bill and nearly had a heart attack. Called and tried to figure it out, 1st guy, rude..., BUT turns out I ended up getting Naria again, and Susan I think, BOTH EXCEPTIONAL. They got with a supervisor, didn't get her name , however that team Maria and supervisor, got me all set up correctly, went over my bill..got me set...even with owing a past due ( my kids, not me ) I recommend 10000000%. They really care about your experience and service with them. GO MARIA!! And Susan , I think and SUPERVISOR! I appreciate you all...not the rude guy though. Thanks GVTC

Absolutely horrible. Had an appointment for Monday. The Friday before our appointment GVTC has someone come out to our property without telling us and they open our gate and just come onto our property. Then while hooking up the internet they used the wires we had put in for our camera system and then tell us to have our camera company fix it.

We moved into a new house recently and they said it would take a week to give us service. So today when they were supposed to come in, they told us they had to reschedule. My mom has to work online. They gave us no reason as to why they can't come and have given us multiple ridiculous excuses as to why they can't come. I would give 0 stars if I could, and I've seen from the reviews that multiple people have agree.

Most horrific customer service to ever exist for a company. Pathetic. Still the worst company ever.Update.:: if you don’t have this company do yourself a favor and never have it. Garbage ?️ they have no record of anything ever. If you want to pay a company and also work for them for free gvtc is for you!

If I could give 0 stars I would. My family used to have good internet with them but then one day they just forced internet that was supposed to be "better" turns out it has been the worst internet I have seen of anyone I have ever known. I have about 500 kb/s in my room. I had to get a WIFI repeater in my room which acts as a router except a little worse and I still only get 2mb/s when I used to get 10 mb/s. They have also given us so many fees for something we haven't even done. Unfortunately this is quite literally the ONLY option we have where we live. As soon as Starlink reaches to us we will be switching to that. Hands down the worst internet quite possibly in America. I have also tried reaching out 4 times now and I still haven't even gotten a response after about 2 weeks of waiting. If you can avoid them avoid them if not then I feel sorry for you and I will be sending prayers your way.

Just now in the middle of a presentation internet failed!!! It’s been an ongoing issue (new customer with only three weeks doing business with this company). Fiber optic is still laying on the grass (week 3). I am supposed to wait a few more weeks before they do something about it. If you have an option stay away from this company. It is just a waste of money and time and they do not take any ownership whatsoever!!!

Moved to Boerne, TX and decided to get internet services with GVTC. Two weeks and so far is the worst internet service ever. Not many options unfortunately. It gets disconnected continuously. I work from home and it's imperative to have a good internet provider. Tech came over to lay the fiber optic, he/she left it over the grass, there is a duct designed to run the line, neither the duct was used nor the line was hidden. When I called to get an update I was told that it will take weeks before this happens. There is a risk that the line can get caught by the lawn mower or perhaps someone to trip. This doesn't seem to be of any concern for the technical support team.If you really need a reliable internet in Kendall county look somewhere else. GVTC is far away from providing good services.

Very pleased with the internet service and speed for the cost. We have many devices in use all the time and have no complaints. The staff is also very responsive and helpful with troubleshooting internet outages. I've called a few of times over the last year to report outages. One time, the issue was on their end and the router was immediately swapped out and replaced with new equipment. The other two times it was an electrical issue on my end, which was identified via our phone call. The technician saved me having to pay for service calls. I highly recommend this company.

GVTC is a monopoly in small towns in the Texas hill country and they know it by their prices. For local channels and internet it is 162.00. You get nothing for that price. Can’t wait until Spectum or another provider comes into Boerne and take over GVTC.

No problems in our dealings with GVTC. They take care of phone, cable, & internet. We are very satisfied.
