“This was our first time seeing Dr Jafaar and we were very impressed! I have an 11 yr old golden retriever that I brought in so I could have the Dr check some of his lumps. I have taken my dog to another vet there and was essentially rushed out the door but Dr Jafaar really took his time answering our questions. He even told us things we could do to save money on upcoming procedures. We will definitely continue seeing only him.”

“Very caring and friendly staff, nurses and doctors. I know I am getting the best care for my pets every time I take them here. We have been clients since 1993! Everyone at Herbst is helpful, friendly and caring. They treat you and your pets like family.Wouldn't entrust my furbabies to any other vet hospital. They always go the extra mile for you and your pet. All of the staff are caring, compassionate and friendly. I always feel that my pets are getting the best care possible.”

“Wonderful vet clinic. Recently I had problems come up with my dog Bandit. First it was his paw they saw him that day. I had to leave him there so they could fit him in when they could. The vet called me we got his paw looking much better. Next it was his back he had a slipped disc and we tried to manage it with meds and strict bed rest, he wasn't getting any better just worse. I had to make the dreaded phone call that no pet parent wants to make. They were very kind in setting up his appointment. After our family was done saying goodbye they lit a candle and had a sign posted. It was the kindest thing. I couldn't read the sign (my eye were just to wet.) If or when we do finally get another pet we will be only going to Boerne Vet Clinic. Wonderful staff!!! Wonderful atmosphere.”

“We have an older dog that is nervous about vet appointments. He needed a thorough checkup, vaccine, and to have his teeth cleaned. He went to Bergheim for the first time, and, very unusual for him, he did not get nervous at entrance. Usually he crouches under us to get away from the front office situation. But here, the front office had a warm and friendly feeling that obviously calmed him. A lot of that was due to Dr. Christina Kresser, who made sure to consider his nervousness, his age, his allergies, and that he was comfortable and well taken care of throughout the whole appointment. And also the receptionist and the technician were very nice, engaged, and competent. When we picked our dog up, he was calm and has recovered without any trauma at all. This is an unusual experience for him, and so nice for all of us.Today, the next day, as you can see from the picture, he is moseying around completely normal. He is bright eyed, and with beautiful teeth!”

“I was a walk-in. I was there for six hours. I watched dogs, cats, and people come and go. Every single family was greeted by an efficient and friendly staff. Techs who had been on their feet for hours greeted and cared for each pet as if they were the first appointment of the day. The doctor was friendly, thorough and professional. They cared for us and took care of our needs. I will make an appointment next time, but am grateful for the opportunity to observe such a well run clinic. Highly recommend!”

“They do great work to help spay and neuter feral cats. Staff is very kind and their system is very efficient. Good work done by good people. I love that you can reserve your spot and don't have to wait in line like with the other clinics that take care of feral cats.”
