“It hurts my soul to shop here because I know I'm sending money to China instead of U. S. workers, but the tools are serviceable and affordable and Harbor Freight is the only place around here to find a lot of the items offered.”
“Stephan and Brandi are the best team you can have. Their leadership spills over and the employees are absolutely amazing also. You’d think it was a family owned store by how they help out. Love this place and will be a longtime customer

“Almost (2) years ago I purchased an 18' long 12" dia. culvert and two tapered ends for our ranch pasture entryway from McCoys in Brownwood. I finally got around to getting the culvert installed. When I went to install the ends, they were different, one was a "straight" end, the other was a "swirled" end. The swirled end would not work with the cupped clamps I'd purchased and I need to use those instead of the flat dimpled coupling to gain the additional 4" on either side, (18 wheeler rigs loaded with hay go in and out of this entryway and use every inch of clearance to do so). When I purchased everything I never noticed the ends were different. The attending Manager, Deborah, was extremely helpful, very friendly and courteous. I had no expectation that I would get an exchange because of the time frame. I was certain I'd have to purchase another end. But I did not know two things: (1) that the manager was more than willing to exchange the part and (2) that the part actually cost $129.98. (I did not remember it being so expensive when I bought it). This manager saved me a lot of money, (to me), and renewed my faith in people to be kind, in spite of the fact that this was all my fault. McCoys clearly stands behind what they sell and they are more than willing to help a customer when the actual customer makes a mistake or takes too long to actually use the parts they've purchased. I really appreciated what this manager did for me. She didn't have to do this, but she did and I'm grateful.”
“I bought a Rake from the garden center. Saw a cute little kitten in there. I wanted to take home but I figure it must be the Home Depot Garden kitten.
I’m got some gloves for the wood pile, Because I was digging around in the garage and found a black widow, and decided it’s probably not the best idea to stick my hands in the wood pile.
Overall, it’s conveniently located in town with plenty of parking.”
“Everyone is always friendly and willing to help. Stark difference from Home Depot where they basically ignore you. Maybe they're a little bit higher than the big box, but it's worth it.”
