“We absolutely loved hosting our rehearsal dinner for 50 at 1818! The ambiance, lighting, sound system, and microphones all worked flawlessly. What a delight to have our tables all set up and ready with our linens and chairs just as we asked, ready to roll! The bar worked beautifully to fit all of our food line plus drinks at the end. The privacy of the venue is such a blessing, and we received so many compliments from our guests on our choice of the venue. Such a fun bonus to choose a personalized message on the outside marquise! Charissa is incredibly responsive and was delightful to work with from many states away as I planned our event at 1818. You will love this venue!”
“The Brazos Center was so very accommodating and spacious. The staff was attentive and available all night. I have no question that for our next events, they will be the first to go too. They have plenty of bathrooms, parking, tables and chairs. Easy access in the back to bring your things in and out. Huge kitchen setup for caterers. Any accommodations you may need they probably provide. You should check them out.”
“I cannot recommend this venue or their staff enough !!! From the very first time I met them they were extremely kind, they prayed over me and my fiance and our marriage, and were just genuinely kind people. the space was absolutely perfect, and we couldn’t have imagined a better place to celebrate such an important day. it exceeded every expectation.
The space was beautiful, well-maintained, and created the most incredible atmosphere for our reception. Beyond that, the staff was amazing, helpful, organized, and truly dedicated to making sure everything went smoothly. They made the entire planning process feel so much less stressful.
On the day of the wedding, everything ran seamlessly, and we were able to fully relax and enjoy every moment. We are so grateful for the role they played in making our day unforgettable. It was the best night ever and if anything went awry I never ever heard about it. They kept the boat running so smoothly. Highly, highly recommend!”

“The arenas and warm up areas were very dusty the first two days we were there. The management team added more water and controlled the dust better on the third and fourth day, but then the surface got a bit hard, especially in the warm up area.”
“It has been a few years since our graduation event but I wanted to be sure to write this even so. The Porter's were easy to work with to sort of customize our event. A basically one gathering room with accessory use areas that has a nice rustic feel overlooking a pond with a large deck. We loved having the serving counter for dinner and a nook for self-serve drinks.This place has good access from the East Bypass (3 miles) or Hwy 21 (1/2 mile). The graduation party for our daughter graduating from Texas A&M was a lot of fun.”

I think it should be better organized at the door for people attending the concerts, example…. One staff should collect the paper tickets and one staff should scan for phone tickets and someone escorting concert goers to their reserved tables ?”

“I was in town for my sister’s graduation, and talk about a “WOW” factor. This hotel really embraced Texas A&M’s friendly tradition and excelled in hospitality. The staff went above and beyond: was super friendly and helpful. They answered all my questions and explained all the amenities of which there were many. They had a nice pool and gazebo, a place to borrow stuff, a business office, and free coffee. The rooms had a full kitchenette and were super spacious! I would definitely stay again and recommend.”
