Bar Z Winery
19290 Farm to market 1541, CanyonLove this place! The wines were tasty and the bartender had lots of local knowledge. The tasting room is super cute and there is lots of outdoor seating as well. Behind the winery is a trail that you can walk down (50 yards or so) that gives you a beautiful panoramic view of the gulch.

Critter Camp Pet Resort
6105 W Rockwell Rd, CanyonThis place is wonderful! They always have clean yards and holding spaces for your beloved furr babies and they are not in it for the money. Taylor and his team have a genuine love and care for all the animals that enter their facility. He has worked with us in many times of financial hardship, getting laid off, living paycheck to paycheck, willing to accept payments later to align with paycheck deposits ; like I said he’s not in it for the money. This place deserves all the recommendations and recognitions. I love this place and they love our dog Spade. They are excited to see Spade as much as he is to go to camp…and if that’s not a good litmus test I’m not sure what else is.
