She asked me a couple of questions about its contents to verify it was mine and I drove back to pick it up. She was very considerate and thoughtful. I am really glad this is my neighborhood CVS!!!”

“I normally visit this HEB before going into work. They have lots of choices for lunch meals that are far cheaper than going out to a fast food restaurant. My only wish is that they had more hot breakfast items on the line. I'm not exactly sure what I would like to see on the breakfast line. Breakfast tacos will be cool. Or maybe like a breakfast platter that you can pick up and go.”
“This 5 star review is for JOE the very welcoming inviting great door greeter. I feel he deserves some type of recognition and maybe even employee of the month. I had a situation where 2 items were left behind and he made me feel like a true valued customer. He has been there for years and always has a smile. I typically do curbside because of the side of town I live on, this store is always packed. On the other hand Steve and Alec both store managers were not so nice, I waited almost 25 mins for them to "check cameras" and be sure 2 items were indeed left behind. In my opinion I felt very embarrassed, ridiculed and made felt like a liar because of how I look (tattoos) I will now be using a different HEB in hopes to never feel that type of embarrassment from employees again. “HEB Alon Floral Department is the best! Clara is a true artist with flowers. She did a fabulous arrangement for me that included yellow roses, white hydrangeas, white Asiatic lilies, baby’s breath, and even more. It is stunning and still going strong, a whole week later! “Typical grocery store staff is your typical young generation. Used to be a slave there. Don't use curbside so can't tell you how well its run there. Boils are here on occasional weekends, but sometimes they'll boil shrimp for if you ask on other days. Shoutout to Chris in seafood if he still works there.”

“I came for some bread & left with a lot more than just...bread. *wink If I had to describe Central Market, I could do it in 3 words. This is the UPSCALE TRADER JOES. Maybe even Whole Foods on some level. Don't expect this to meet your expectations for your local HEB. It won't. That said, it's a classier, far more expensive supermarket...but the variety is OH MY GOD. Like other reviewers have stated, if you are looking for that ONE ingredient that seems impossible to find, you have a darn good chance at finding it here. Walking through the aisles, I could tell that Central Market carries QUALITY ingredients. There was many different "areas" depending on what you are looking for which made it easier to get what you need, but it was still nice to roam. We mainly came for their SOURDOUGH bread but unfortunately we didn't get the plain one. I LOVE that I finally found a place that carries ELLENOS yogurt (Marionberry is the best flavor, imo)...and I'll be back even if it's just for this particular item. All in all, I could spend a good two hours going from place to place in this market.”

“Pharmacist Alicia Campos at the Oak Park HEB is a treasure! Today, Sunday, I was alarmed that my blood pressure medicine was not working. I could not get hold of my physician, so I consulted the pharmacist on duty at our HEB. Alicia showed genuine concern for my anxiety and offered me excellent counsel. Hopefully, I will speak to my primary care physician on Monday, but Alicia's professionalism and kindness has been a God-send!”
“My grandchild recently needed a nebulizer, during Christmas 2023. Rite Away Pharmacy came through. All the other larger pharmacies did not have it available or were closed. The staff (Pharmacist and Technician) were extremely helpful and friendly. My daughter stated they were awesome. Very disappointed as these big chain pharmacies could not meet our needs.”
“HEB trumps any other grocery store. I have been coming to them since it had opened. The only issue I come across is the deli team. They are never friendly when they answer the phone and most of the requests in regards to orders is always a “no” from them. Kim and others need to work on their customer service and not come across so brute. Other than that, no complaints!”

“I like going to this CVS store. First, the are stocked up with a variety of Arizona Tea flavors. Those are the big cans of liquid refreshments for 99 cents. Secondly, CVS has four self service kiosks where you check the merchandise out by yourself and then you pay using a credit card or cash. ****However, there are some negatives. I like to use currency paper money and CVS has only one kiosk that takes both paper money and credit cards. All four machines take credit cards. Also, the 12 packs of Budweiser and Coors do not have the prices posted in the ice coolers. Overall, the store gets a top score because they offer pharmacy services and they print out pictures from your digital devices. Plus the pricing is affordable during the 2021 Fiesta week in downtown San Antonio, TX.”
“Looking for cake and bakery was closed. I was going to assist myself and got caught by this nice man name Wendell, who politely informed me that I could not get my own cake and that he would help me. Lol! He put on a hair net and gloves and boxed up the cake I wanted, and the one my daughter wanted too. All with a smile!! Great customer service and even the cashier AND manager were wonderful! I sure wish the HEB we live near had these wonderful people there and all the different foods etc that my HEB doesn’t have. Seriously, we have NO friendly people at mine (Bulverde/Evans) or my daughter’s on Walzem. This store was extra clean too! Enjoyed our visit to the best HEB I have been it. Thank you Wendell!”
