“I came for some bread & left with a lot more than just...bread. *wink If I had to describe Central Market, I could do it in 3 words. This is the UPSCALE TRADER JOES. Maybe even Whole Foods on some level. Don't expect this to meet your expectations for your local HEB. It won't. That said, it's a classier, far more expensive supermarket...but the variety is OH MY GOD. Like other reviewers have stated, if you are looking for that ONE ingredient that seems impossible to find, you have a darn good chance at finding it here. Walking through the aisles, I could tell that Central Market carries QUALITY ingredients. There was many different "areas" depending on what you are looking for which made it easier to get what you need, but it was still nice to roam. We mainly came for their SOURDOUGH bread but unfortunately we didn't get the plain one. I LOVE that I finally found a place that carries ELLENOS yogurt (Marionberry is the best flavor, imo)...and I'll be back even if it's just for this particular item. All in all, I could spend a good two hours going from place to place in this market.”

“Ortiz Pharmacy is our go to pharmacy. We have been using Ortiz since my son was an infant. My son's doctor is in the same building. Whenever he gets prescribed medication we just send it right over to Ortiz. When the doctor sends the prescription to Ortiz it usually takes 15-20 minutes to enter their system. I wish it was faster but that's how it goes. Sometimes I can't take him to doctor until my mother gets out of work. That interferes with the timing because they close at 7pm. The time it takes to process the meds is fantastic. Usually 10-15 minutes tops and then we are good to go. I used to receive meds thru their delivery system for over 3 years. In those 3 years never did I run into any issues. Ortiz would call my cell 5-10 minutes before they arrived. Ortiz was always on top of refills and they were never late or never missed a prescription. Oh yeah I forgot to mention Ortiz has a drive thru and always use it. That's my son after he saw the doctor. He was ill with stomach virus. So I asked him to take a picture of him feeling sick. Thank you Ortiz Pharmacy for being such a wonderful establishment.”

“First visit to this particular neighborhood market but i passed it the other day and thought id give it a go. It was 4pm on a Tuesday and traffic wasn't as bad since it's away from culebra and the high school. The store was clean and not crowded it had every item I was looking for like a mini Walmart I was in and out in less than 40 min.”

“I've been coming to this Pharmacy for the last 7 years and every month they been polite familiar faces the owners are really nice do you know who I am every time they see me they wave hi there ready have my medication ready you're awesome there was only one lady there. Her ethnicity was white and they gave me a partial on my prescription which was only half of my medication and everybody there knew that it was a partial the person that gave me the partial was there to tell the pharmacist that she was wrong after multiple people convincing her I got my medication but she doesn't work there no more so that's why I gave this a 5 and I'm grateful for the employees are for having my back because they knew she was in the wrong because it says partial refill and her own employees sitting there telling her I gave him this partial refill with her initials on it I brought the receipt with me I'm glad she's not there no more that's why I'm so there because of the owners more so the gentleman in the wife those two people are very kind very generous”
