Their Kirkland Signature brand rivals name-brand quality at a fraction of the cost. With services like pharmacy, optical, and tire centers, Costco is a one-stop shop for all my needs.

“Gasoline at a very good price. You just have to wait longer than usual with other pumps. What does seem slow to me is the pump system, it takes a long time to process the operations and deliver the ticket”
“H‑E‑B Fuel has made strides in upgrading their pumps to offer a more modern and efficient fueling experience. However, during my recent visit, I encountered a notable drawback: the lack of sufficient lighting on the updated pumps.
While the enhancements to the pumps themselves were noticeable, the absence of proper illumination made the fueling process less convenient, especially during evening hours or in low-light conditions.
Navigating the pump interface and reading important information became a challenge, potentially leading to inconvenience and frustration for customers.
Despite this setback, H‑E‑B Fuel continues to provide quality fuel and convenient service, and with some adjustments to the lighting, they could further elevate the customer experience.”
“Ok, so I'm from out of state, and we don't have grocery stores like this where I'm from. My biggest praise for HEB is that their sushi rolls are insanely good. Like, how does a grocery store offer some of the best sushi I've ever had?! Amazing.
Also, HEB's brands are better than the competitors, and cheaper to boot. I'm sold, HEB is the best.”

“I have to share why my 3star went to 5stars! This week my daughter had 2 brain surgery's & she's going to make it but I definitely needed something to smile about after the rough 11 days I've had. Our cashier George made my day! He complimented me, was extremely patient (after closing), had common sence, polite, sweet & gave the absolute best customer service! That's how I remember HEB in the past! I bet I will smile just seeing him from now on! Way to go George! Thank you for making our day!”
“This particular H-E-B location is incredibly convenient for us, being just a few minutes from home. Unfortunately, it’s consistently hit or miss when it comes to stock. Nearly every time we stop by for a quick grocery run, we end up missing five or six items from our list due to them being out of stock. It's frustrating when you rely on a nearby store for everyday essentials and frequently leave without key items.
On a more positive note, the bakery at this location is phenomenal. Their conchas are the best we've had from any H-E-B in San Antonio, always fresh, soft, and full of flavor. It's one of the few reasons we still make regular stops here despite the stocking issues.
The customer service is usually quite good. Most of the staff are courteous, approachable, and helpful when we’ve needed assistance. That level of friendliness goes a long way in creating a welcoming shopping experience.
Another highlight is the meat department. While I wouldn’t say it’s the best in the city, it does consistently offer some of the better cuts we’ve seen around town. The quality is definitely above average compared to other locations nearby.
Overall, this store has a lot of potential. It’s clean, the staff is great, the bakery is top-tier, and the meat section stands out, but the persistent inventory shortages make it difficult to rely on for complete grocery runs. If they could improve their restocking or product availability, it would make a huge difference for regular shoppers like us.”

Damien not only called, he remained outside my door and handed the medication to me. Going above and beyond what was asked. Thank you for putting customer service above speed. You don’t find that kind of consideration in this day and age.”

“A decent sized HEB with everything one could need. Nice cut to order meat market along the back wall is a real plus. Their fresh fruits and vegetables sections offer a wider selection than I've seen at other HEBs. Customer service is friendly and helpful. Parking is plentiful. The only gripe I've got is that the parking lot nearest the entrance is uphill when leaving the store and with groceries can be a bit hard if dealing with a mobility issue. There are handicap parking spaces very close to the entrance (and not uphill) if you're fortunate enough to get one. Overall, a great store.”

“Obviously the price for gas here is way better. And I don't know how I feel about the one way thing. I think I'm more for it than against it. I mean it is nice to not have to back up and go around or find myself driving in circles looking for a place to pump. I just simply have to wait in line and knowing that the cars in front of me will simply pull out going the same way. The only thing that I don't like is when I get out and realize my gas tank is on the other side. I mean personally I prefer it to be on the driver side cuz getting out and walking all the way around when I'm paying with card is a little annoying. That's just me being lazy. But regardless when that happens here I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who gets the pump and stretches it across the back of my car to reach the tank. Lol”
“I went to HEB today to pick up my medication and I had to wait so I went to check out the sparkling water because I have been wanting to try one. As I was looking a store manager asked if he could help me. I told him I was going to get the individual Cascade drinks before I purchased a case and he asked which did I want to try. He grabbed the two I wanted and he took them to the cashier and said to give them to me free. Taht was amazing. He was so nice I wish I knew his name. They are always so helpful. I have never had a bad experience. I’m so happy it’s my neighborhood store!”

As far as price wise on meds goes, Well they are competitive to the big chain pharmacies and (in my case) they are cheaper. Plus offer free delivery!!!
Now this is only the second time I’ve used them, we will see how they perform in future transactions.
Ohhh , I only have a couple of concerns:
1) they will not take discount cards like::The Good RX discount cards.
2) The Galaxy pharmacies do not have their own discount cards like HEB does.
But apart from those couple of gripes.

So my daughter decided to call Davila and the lady was so helpful, by the next day we picked up my autistic granddaughter's order and had them deal & fix it with the Dr's office. “I had an unexpected situation at the gas station when I locked my keys in my truck. I was in a bit of a panic, but two incredibly thoughtful and helpful ladies (whose names I regretfully lost) came to my rescue. One kindly let me use her phone to call for roadside service. They also kept me informed with constant updates on the arrival time, which was a huge relief.

“The Managers, Clinton and Becca, helped me out with an issue I had with a purchase I made a couple of weeks ago. They was super friendly and very understanding. They really didn't have to help me, but they did. This HEB is super close to my work. I usually shop at the one in Alamo Heights, but this one is really convenient for stops during and after work. The area is a little sketchy, but the staff and security are always present and attentive. Great management and great employees!”
