So I get there 5 minutes after they open, and there was still nobody there! Me and other people were standing around. When I got inside they told me my car would be ready at 8am well no, it was ready by 10am.

Great place to go for a rental. I’ve dealt with Corey on several occasions and he’s great. He’ll go out of his way to help you and is cordial, and honest.

I went to Avis and met with a lady name Brianna to pick up a rental and she was amazing. I love great personalities and customer service and she had both. She was also very knowledgeable and helpful when it came to me trying to find another vehicle for my up coming family trip.

This location usually is ok but today was INSANE. I have been picking up my monthly company rentals from this location since March 2024. Today there was a younger guy behind the counter who was not only rude but flat out belligerent!! He yelled and screamed even when my corporate booking service explained to him that the rate was wrong, he even threatened me!! He acted like he was high on drugs or something! He would not fix what he had done in the computer to change the confirmed booking rate, he just kept screaming this isnt my store im just here to cover.

I wish I could rate lower than a one star. I received two calls from this location before picking up out rental asking if we were still picking up the vehicle and said we can only rent with a major credit card. I confirmed that we had a major cc and asked if it was a 7 passenger and was told yes. Well when we got at this location around 4:30pm the young guy was out back cleaning out van so when I finally got his attention he came in and asked my husband if we had a reservation we told him yes and when he pulled our reservation he said that he had two jeep Cherokee black or white, we asked for the black and he went on to say it had a few dings and a small cracked window shield. My husband said we didn't want the window shield to crack so the guy said to go look at them. Well we walked out to look at the rentals and to our surprise they both were six passenger vehicles and we reserved a seven passenger. I told him that we needed seven seat belts and he said this was all he had. I then asked if another location had a traverse or similar to what we requested and he said that probably not but I would have to call myself because he can't call and check. So I spent about 30 minutes calling around with no luck and getting routed to the national call center who told me I could try Dallas Love Field. My husband them saw a third vehicle on the back and asked about it. So the guy at the counter gave him the key to look at it so we walked out to view and it was a 7 passenger jeep Cherokee but it was dirty, it had bottles, paper and in need of vacuuming. I told him it would work but could he clean it out and he flat out said it ain't my job to clean cars. I then said when we got here you were cleaning the van and he said I was just doing my manager a favor. I then called him lazy and he said do you want it or not, so my husband being desperate and ready to go agreed to taking it. Then the guy said. Make sure you don't smoke or have any pets in it, then i.said it's not clean so how do I know the person prior didn't have pets or smoke so he said in a loud angry voice "I said bring it back like it is" so he then walked out and looked at it with me and my husband and said I was tripping that it wasn't dirty and then I pointed out trash and dirty carpet and he said I told you I would get the bottle out so I told him he was lazy and that I was the consumer but he didn't care and said this wasn't his job and that he was there just to make some extra money and this wasn't his store ect..I them told him we we're not going to take a dirty car and we would go elsewhere. He then became argumentative and said it I had children or grandchildren they would be ashamed of me then he told my husband I will refund your money but you need a new wife. I can't believe that they would hire someone like this to work in customer service. He was the only one at the store on 8/8/24 at 4:30 pm he was rude, unprofessional and lazy and I've never received service like this at the airport or other places. I will never return to this location to rent anything and they didn't have cars and the few they had there had dings ect

My experience has been good for every rental. Good customer service!However, we had to cancel because the plans changed, and we didn't need the car. I just wish I had known that you don't get your money back when you prepay. I paid for a rental and didn't go anywhere but to the grocery store. I don't think I even put 30 miles on the car but paid for 3 or 4 days. You would think that the would offer some kind of credit. Money wasted.

Reserved a car on Priceline for pick up at 9am and Avis call the day of talking about nothing going to be ready until 4pm. So I had to go with enterprise. Priceline kept my money for the prepaid insurance because "I canceled after my reservation" but I wouldn't need to cancel if Avis and Priceline can get there books together and stop false advertising stuff they don't have avaliable.

Why is this Avis still open. Everytime I go in there a girl with a birthmark on her neck gives me a hard time. She really doesn’t give men a hard time. I had reservations and went in 1 hour and a half early and told her my car is in the shop and I need to pick up my rental car early. She said NO you can’t cut in line of people that already rented. What is the difference you still have cars all over the car lot and you want to tell me you have no cars available. Well I already have reservations so my car should be somewhere on the car lot ready in a hour and a half. I’m just getting it early. I’m a customer also picking up a car. The girl absolutely refused and she didn’t care if I already had reservations and she didn’t care if I had no ride. If Uber dropped you off to rent a car you’re just out of luck with this location. Avis is getting worse and worse with their rude employees at the local branches. They are VERY RUDE and uncaring and poor customer service. The airport at DFW has a better attitude. When I travel to other states and other locations in the different states I never have an issue, not ever! Their system is so great you don’t really have to talk to a person all the time. They’re so good with their preferred members. Cedar hill location is the worse location Avis have. I hate going in there sometimes but I live in their homes in cedar hill Texas. Also I can’t hold this one employee responsible for ALL Avis companies in other states when I travel. I’m a preferred member and it doesn’t mean any damn thing because this crazy employee they have at this location is horrible.

This place is the worst. Had a car with a nail that I didn’t catch at car pick up time and 2 days later I had to pay for the repair. And didn’t had the car I had reserved. It’s a NO GO again for me.
