I've been at Cedar Park CrossFit gym for a bit more than 3 months now, I have been running since college (and I’m 55 now) but I'd never done CrossFit before, so I was a total newbie and I confess I bit scared.I signed up for the introduction program for a month which made a huge difference, coach David helped me a lot in this program.I normally take the 5:15 am class and my coach Russell is incredible. He’s always on time, very patient encouraging and always helps me move to my next level; he meets you right where you're at, no judgment.The people in the class are awesome too. Everyone's friendly and welcoming. You're instantly part of the crew, whether you're a pro or just starting like me.if you're thinking about trying CrossFit, you've gotta check out this gym. I've felt the progress, and I'm hooked. Highly recommend! ??️♀️?

I have been at CrossFit Cedar Park for 15 years and the team has worked with me as I have aged (now in my 50s!) to adjust my goals and now welcome my kids who are entering competitive sports. My greatest joys this year have been the Friday evenings and Saturday mornings working out with my kids. Great coaching with a commitment to mobility and functional fitness, always responsive, and a great group of folks to get after it.

What a great community. CFCP even has a teen program which has been a game changer for my 13 year old. He has never been a big athlete and I needed to find something to keep him active. The teen program welcomes beginners and helps them learn in an inclusive environment. Awesome

Crossfit Cedar Park is awesome! I've been going for a little over 4 months now and I cant tell you how much fun I'm having! Dave is very nice and welcoming. He is really knowledgeable and knows when to push me out of my comfort zone. Lindsay is an amazing coach as well, she is very competitive and keeps me honest to myself! They both pay close attention to each of us in the class and seem to know our capabilities better than ourselves which is nice when your apprehensive and not confident in a new movement. The programming at Crossfit Ceadar Park is tremendous you can tell the week is thought out and isn't just thrown together. All of the gear is clean and not overly used. I honestly havent ever stuck with a program and I find myself going to bed early just so I can make it to class in the morning! I can't praise this place enough if you a newbie on the fence like me make the leap I promise you wont regret it! And if your an experienced cross fitter or lifter definitely check this place out!

I tried a free session today, and I loved it. It took me a whopping 33min to finish my WOD.. most people were done with their workouts (I sucked pretty bad). I still had a couple of rounds to go, everyone stayed and cheered me on. Even joined me on my last round of WOD. I was blown away by the support and encouragement I got. The member who showed me the ropes on my first workout today was awesome, kept pushing me. The coach showed me some alternate moves coz some where complicated, and did not have the flexibility to execute those.. After the session was over there was no pressure to join, no sales pitch .. just an invitation to come back the next day and workout. The facility looks pretty organized, it's a gym (they call it a box) not a studio.. and I kinda like that. The barbell movements are pretty advanced, workout is tough, but I got a real feeling of accomplishment after I was done. I am going to join and give it a try.
