Aweful customer service. I would never treat a customer the way I was treated today. Who ever you have stocking your shelves absolutely hates his job and makes it very clear that he hates every customer that walks through your doors.
The manager is unhelpful, rude and condescending.
Avoid.

Not the best option if you want to buy fish or plants for your tank. All the fish tanks were very dirty, lots of algae, many dead fish half eaten. Very sad.
If you're not going to take care of these creatures, then don't have them.

The Rudest interaction I've ever had with staff anywhere. I went in to buy my mom a beta fish, you know the one they keep in cups, and the cashier refused to sell me the fish because she felt I didn't have a proper tank for it. I was told before and today by other staff members that a beta works best in an unfiltered gallon bowl than other fish. I was ready to buy the bottle of waters to make sure the water was correct and also had the food and rocks. Even after another staff member said that a beta would work best, she refused to sell it to me and stated that he should know better. The first beta we purchased, with no issues and information that it would be fine in the bowl, died within a few days but we figured we didn't have the water just right since that person stated that day the water is the most important thing, which is why I came back today to try to get the ready water and another fish. Did I ask for a manager? No, because at that point, I definitely was not giving this store my money or any more of my time. I was thrown off from the beginning since the cashier immediately started asking me questions and telling me that she wasn't selling me anything until I answered her. I've never had that type of interaction when I've tried to purchase something, so honestly, I thought she was trying to make small talk at first.

Worst petsmart I've ever been to all the fish tanks are either empty and dirty or full of dead fish they clearly don't care about these animals I purchased a beta and it did not even live through the night they should be shut down for lack of care for their animals and the staff is completely unhelpful

Every time I go to Petsmart in Cedar Park, there are no fish eventhough the app says that the fish I want are available. The aquariums are dirty and with tons of algea.
Today was the last straw, I kept going back hoping to be pleasantly surprised, but enough is enough.
I want my phone number associated with Petsmart deleted. Will never patronize this store again.

Just visited this location with my kids. I first visited the cat adoption center to show my kids the kittens that were available. They absolutely love cats and while we were not there to adopt as we already have 2 gorgeous cats at home, it was clearly visible the lady who was handling them did not like children or animals. Her demeanor was not only rude, aggressive but also very unprofessional. She snatched right in front of my face the tag for a kitten that my child was looking through the window to make it known that the kitten was taken. Unfortunately, when my oldest son was looking to get a tiny fish it happened to be the same lady helping us(by helping, I truly mean kindly rejecting to help). She told us our tank was too small and didn't bother to offer to sell a bigger tank or even suggesting. It was heartbreaking to watch. I would never come back to this store again and would recommend to hire new and friendly employees who are educated.

I came to Petsmart today for assistance with a return. Upon my arrival, Team Leader Lawrence greeted the situation with an uncalled for attitude. Lawrence was rude, disrespectful, and ignored my presence. When I confronted him about his piss poor attitude, he acted surprised. Lawrence advised me of a policy that when I asked to see it he could not provide it to me. Lawrence came back a short time later with a half par attitude and made the situation better. All this to say that I have never come to this location and seen anyone in high spirits or enjoying working here, and Lawrence a ‘team leader’ was no positive example to turn the attitude of the store as a whole around.

Honestly the worse location, under count us on crickets all the time, mangers are rude to customers and their employees. They are very slow, the fruit fly cultures keep get smaller and smaller every time I go, the last two I purchased did not produce any babies, their isopods are almost always dead same with about half of their super worms.
Make the extra drive and go to the petsmart off 620 and Ridgeline location, or petco on the other side of 183a, much better service.

Overall typical petsmart. Clean, decently stocked, and convenient. My dogs love staying at the petshotel when I need to board them. The staff can be hit or miss. The store Staff not the petshotel staff, they are great. I called ahead to inqire about making an exchange to make sure it could be done as I didn't have the receipt and was advised that was fine. A couple days later I go in for the exchange and the cashier Lawrence was SUPER annoyed. I advised I called a couple days earlier and he goes "well that was a couple days ago not today". I guess they got a new system and it was inconvenient? He didn't seem to have issues processing my request with this new system so I'm not sure why he was so grumpy. He was saying how his co worker was stupid and made me feel like a huge burden to him. People have bad days but not a good look to trash your coworkers and make customers feel like they are a burden. The transaction was taken care of in a timely manner, not sure what the cashier's issue was.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I went to my grooming appointment with Rick for my almost 2 year old puppy and my 12 year old senior dog, both standard schnauzers and the treatment my dogs and I received by him is not per the standard I’ve received before at petsmart, I normally go to another groomer but as that groomer didn’t have availability soon, I decided to try with this petsmart, and I regret it terribly. My puppy was a bit anxious, however she wasn’t showing signs of agression, like barking or growling, just whining and staying behind me, my daughter and our senior dog staying away from the people. The moment we walked in for the appointment he started telling us a speech that sounded rehearsed and almost like he was reading from something however we had never been read this speech before at any other petsmart. The speech boiled down that if our dog was to present herself as aggressive, scratch, bite or broke skin he would have to report us and have our dog put down. If you think it sounds exaggerated it is not, there was not an ounce of sympathy or regret for saying this speech that was ruthless and cold, I don’t understand how a person who works with dogs could be confident when saying that a dog would be put down. Due to his actitud towards the whole situation I decided that my puppy couldn’t be groomed there and he even suggested that my puppy should be sedated for her grooming appointments which to my understanding it’s not recommendable for dogs the age of my puppy and senior dog. There is witnesses both between the grooming staff and the staff of the store that my dogs were not aggressive at any point as I was leaving from the place. Normally I would’ve left it at that, it was a bad experience but I didn’t allow it to go far enough for me to leave a review or even put a complaint with the store. What made me place this review and complaint is that when I went to put an appointment with their usual groomer to my surprise there is a ban to my account that cited my dogs as aggressive and that they couldn’t be groomed at any petsmart store placed by Rick. I think that the only aggressive one throughout this whole interaction was Rick who retaliated against me and my dogs after canceling the appointment with him by lying and putting a ban on my account. I think the aggressive one is the man who can speak about putting down dogs without any remorse or care. I think the aggressive one is the man who abuses his power to retaliate against someone who even offered reimbursement for having cancelled last minute on her appointment. People like him should not work with animals nor in positions that they can use their power to look down on people who got anxious and decided to leave. Now I understand the embarrassment and sadness on the faces of the other employees when I was speaking with Rick. I hope this all made sense, English is not my first language and I hope the message comes across. It does make me wonder if he thought he could do this because I wouldn’t be able to defend myself with my broken spoken English.

Fish tanks are always a mess. Dirty and foggy with dead fish. The grooming place is a nightmare, long story behind that. Good selection of fish tanks and supplies more affordable than the other pet store in the area. Very difficult to get assistance when needed so expect to wait.

The absolute worst customer service experience I've ever had with a PetsMart. 1st level Manager awful, 2nd level Manager even worse. Serious customer service skills should be taught before they are given these positions.

I felt like my dog was close to being finished so I went early to stand and wait and looked through the window to watch and saw the groomer HIT my dog in the face hard!!! :( The manager and I confronted the groomer who admitted to hitting my dog. I’m saddened beyond belief.
