After visiting Johnson Furniture we found Carol Johnson to be very helpful in leading us to make good decisions regarding select furniture pieces and decorative accessories. The furniture selection at her store tends to be unique and quite different from the standard furniture found at other furniture stores. With Carol's help we now have a very nicely furnished home. We are appreciative of her assistance. Carol is a great asset in this regard.”

“There were two registers and so I thought there was two lines. I was told by a manager to get in the other line because there's only one line. I waited and waited and waited for the person in front of me to be done at the register and then somebody walked up to the other register where I was before and got checked out immediately instead of telling them there was one line. Their rules apply to some but not everybody. There needs to be signs that say "form one line" or something like that. Not a big deal but still make it so it wasn't a 5 star experience.”

“Literally my absolutely favorite candles!!! The scents are beyond amazing!!! I bought my first Rustic Swank candle in Fredericksburg 2 years ago and it still makes my entire room smell heavenly. We got to visit the store on our trip to Gruene and was so incredibly impressed with all of the beautiful, unique candles and so much more. Bluebonnet Festival is my favorite scent ever!! We bought two more pieces and they didn't have many more of the bf or any melts or replacement sets in that scent but.....they told me they had some that were ready to be wrapped and put out in the next day or so. I also bought about a dozen and half other scents to try!! I thought I would just order more online but my husband knew how much I loved these candles so we called, found out they had everything I wanted in stock and we took a trip back!! Ruth is the nicest person ever!! So helpful and kind!! She asked about our trip and gave us some great recommendations of where to eat both in Gruene and on our next stop in Port Aransas!!”

“Never disappoints when I shop DD’s Discounts. You can always find something you love. I buy all of my linens to include bedding, curtain etc. At this price you can afford to switch them out more and there’s a huge variety of soft, fluffy blankets. Makes great gifts for any occasion. The staff are super friendly and the manager is hands down is one of the reasons I keep going back. He is always singing and interacting with customers and remembers you when you return. Go check it out!”

“This store is usually pretty clean and decently stocked. However, I had to wait 15+ minutes to go help reaching for something on a high shelf. This wouldn't have been a problem if I was alone but my toddler was getting impatient. The selection of wrapping paper was sad this year, only half an aisle. The manager of the front seemed frazzled and was avoiding customers since she was so busy doing other things. Wish there was cart returns in the parking lot for convenience.”

“The store is not bad at all, but people don't seem to care to keep the clothes and accessories hung and it makes the store look dirty most of the time. I usually try to pick up everything I find on the way I walk by. I'd we help to keep it clean it will be clean. Not sure if they are dirty of personnel. Still like the place”
