My 13 year old golden-great Pyrenees is a regular client to address his degenerative myelopathy symptoms. Wally receives manual therapy, acupuncture, an underwater treadmill, proprioceptive and stretching exercises, wheelchair work, conditioning, and lots of love from this team. Julia's professional communication and updates are above and beyond expectation in the medical field. I am excited that this service is available in our area!!”

“I was looking for a vet clinic near me and after reading the great reviews I decided to try this clinic out. I had been going to Banfield for the last 5 years and I wasn't getting the personalized service that I wanted for Bela. I booked and pre-paid for my appointment. When I arrived, I felt as though I had walked back in time. Like when the small-town vet would come to your home and show genuine concern for whatever ails your pet. I was met by Jeremy the P.A. who walked me and Bela into the Green Room. He was genuinely concerned with the issues that Bela had and took notes. He stated that Dr. Fowler would be coming in to discuss options and treatment for her anal glands problem. When I met Dr Fowler, she showed compassion and a passion for helping my Bela. She does not rush her time with you. She covers all options, treatments and possible side effects. She completely gives you all the information you need to make a decision. I felt an immediate bond that comes with a gut instinct that I could trust her completely with my Bela. The pricing was affordable for me since I live on a limited income. My only regret was that I had not found this place sooner. I was told by Banfield that there was nothing more they could do for Bela's condition with her anal glands. I was not told this by the vet, but from the receptionist, since the Dr would not come out to see me. But Dr Fowler stays with you in the room and explains everything. I was confident with the care Bela was shown, that I also booked a grooming appointment for her. A service that they offer here as well. I want to thank the entire staff, not to forget the ladies at the front desk who also were very helpful with the booking of Bela's grooming. I am confident that Bela will receive the high level of care, that she deserves in her senior years. Thank you all for the passion you have in helping pets that have no voice. And for your understanding in calming parents that are having a fear of the unknown that follows with meds, procedures and expectations. I can honestly say I will not hear there is nothing we can do as I was told at Banfield. Here they actually help you find a solution. “We had our first visit Dr. Huffman yesterday, and he is absolutely amazing, as is the rest of his team, especially Irene!From calling me back same-day to discuss imaging/lameness/injections questions I had(before we’d even been to the clinic yet), recommending a lameness exam PRIOR to doing imaging(which can be costly so I appreciate him not jumping straight to that), taking his time and doing a MUCH more thorough exam than our previous vet who did the PPE, he showed us all around our horses mouth and teeth(he’s very mouth shy so we haven’t been able to see in there), he took out a skeletal diagram to show us exactly where the injections go and how it helps to lubricate and move the joint. I feel like he took extra time and care after telling him everything we’ve been through with our horse since purchasing him 8 months ago. He was patient with all of our questions, very down to earth, and even though he had his next patient waiting, he didn’t make us feel rushed at all. They offer a wellness program that I’ve not seen offered anywhere else, and it’s a valuable program. I’m thankful he was recommended to us, and glad to have him as our vet now!”

“Just moved to the area and needed a vet for shots for grooming. Got an appointment within 2 weeks. Lobby is very open and clean. Separate entrance for cats. They have their own parking lot and grassy area. Had an appointment at 2 and was in a room by 2:10. Only had to wait because of a difficult dog in the lobby that took multiple staff. Vet tech and doctor were very friendly and efficient. Paid and out the door by 2:45. A week later They sent a handwritten card with a note from everyone that saw my dog welcoming us to the vet.”

“Kittyhawk animal hospital really show that they care for your pet. My pet loves to go there because when he sees his technicians he's happy I highly recommend this veterinarian the only negative I would say would be they charge you for an appointment so you can get there which I understand, but when you get there on time, and several minutes early and they don't see you till 20 minutes after or 30 minutes after your appointment time which means you're there for practically an hour for an appointment that lasted 10 minutes”
