Our favorite weekend getaway! We love the pool and hot tub, fishing in the lake, and relaxing on the porch swing enjoying the quiet. The gators are fun to watch too.
We are a nature-oriented resort featuring lakeside log cabins and larger homes. The property has many interconnected Artesian water-fed lakes and is heavily forested with giant pine trees and many other varieties of trees. Birds and wildlife are also abundant. Amenities include great fishing, hiking on trails, swimming in a pool and a lake with giant slides, canoeing (rentals available; no outside water craft allowed), playgrounds, miles of gravel roads for bicycle riding, a Frisbee golf course, a fitness center, a restaurant open on weekends and a poolside grill open during Spring Break and the Summer season. All the accommodations are fully furnished (no cooking utensils in the log cabins), and have AC/heating. Most have fireplaces.
