“I visited as part of a large group for a week. I highly recommend this place. While the cabins feel like a rustic getaway/escape, modern conveniences are available should you desire or need them. The retreat center offers a variety of activities to engage any size group or family size.Walkability: If you want to walk, plenty of options are available. Most cabins are within easy distances to available facilities like the restaurant and pool/hot tub area.”

“Pros: The hotel and the room are very clean, quiet, comfortable bed, upgrade to a suite at no cost, well located near the highway.Cons: carpets everywhere, bath with mold under the silicones and rusty taps, fridge not cold enough, old microwave, and above all no USB sockets, which is inconceivable today!Despite everything, we would come back if the opportunity arises, for the cleanliness.”

“Great place to stay !!! Very clean rooms. Linens were fresh. Satellite TV service. Coffee maker in room. Parking lot was very well lit. Neil, the manager, was super personable & made you feel right at home. We had stayed at an exquisite & expensive hotel in New Orleans the previous night & Neil’s hotel blew the other one out of the water. We always like to eat at Ma & Pa -local type restaurants. Neil recommended D&M restaurant for breakfast & we greatly appreciated the recommendation, the food was terrific!”
