This is an extremely innovative winery that is the only winery making Texas wine aged with Texas White Oak. Tannat is the wine to try here, but the Picpoul is also outstanding. This is a bit of a drive from central Texas, but we'll worth the trip.

We visited Bending Branch when we lived in Texas 10 years ago and STILL remember this vineyard by name as our favorite. When my husband was in Houston for business, he hit up an HEB and brought home this red and we’re enjoying it today. Bending Branch is wonderful! Worth the stop!
