Was great seeing Jackie at her booth out by the Pearl! A small glass of the blanc is exactly what I wanted and needed! I definitely have to swing by the winery some day! Thank you Jackie!

If you are a Tannat wine fan (which I am now) this is the best of the best. Friends of ours live in Comfort, TX and took us here because it is their favorite - and being locals they have visited many of the Hill Country wineries. It is a smaller venue but the high quality of their wine separates it from all others in the area. That is a bold statement I realize considering all the wineries in the area, but I stand firm on it. If you're going to a winery to sample and enjoy well-crafted wine - Bending Branch Winery near Comfort is that place! These people got "skills".

It’s not exactly on the 290 wine trail, but this is a place that you definitely want to stop. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive and the wines are top notch. Bending Branch put Tannat on the map for Texas (and the US in general). They have a robust selection of different varietals and blends. The tasting room is small so get there early (especially on weekends). There is a nice big covered outdoor area which is especially nice when the weather is cooler. Take your time and discover what Texas winemaking is really about.

I'm not a wine drinker so I went with the bourbon cocktails. They were really good and the people there are all very nice and love helping guests out with selections and suggestions of things to do in the area. Will definitely be going back.

We decided to take a trip to a winery while we were in Kerrville and Bending Branch Winery was strongly recommended, and glad we went! I must admit, it was hard to find, (I’d recommend “MapQuest” and worth the trip! The wine does not disappoint as well as the Bourbon; we sampled them both and came away with both. We joined the “Club” and cannot wait to go back! I also would like to say, the staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They know there stuff?

Amazing winery! Super helpful and attentive staff during the tastings. They make whiskey as well, so we did the whiskey and the wine tasting, and were lucky enough that there was a concert outside on their patio - a woman and her guitar playing such relaxing folksy music. A sunny, cool afternoon, surrounded by the beautiful Texas hill country, drinking amazing wine and whiskey from in my opinion one of the best in the TX wine region! Don't miss out! Skip past the mass tasting rooms in Fredericksburg and pop by Bending Branch! You won't regret it. We can't wait to go back next time we're in the hill country.

Bending Branch wine is the best in Texas. I would also state it's more amazing than any wine I've had in California or New Mexico. The staff at the winery are fantastic. This is my favorite wine and winery.

Great place and the BEST wine around. But they close at 6 and honestly in the summer it's too soon. You're sitting outside relaxing, drinking delicious Frizannte Rose when they come around and ask you to leave. Last pour should be at sunset all year round.
