“My go to hill country store. I’ve seen my fair share of convenience stores, haven’t we all? And sure, I’ve had my usual pit stops along I-10 and 35. But The Barn, and let me tell you… game changer. This spot has me craving a Hill Country detour every time. It’s spotless, full of color, and actually fun to browse (yes, fun in a convenience store). And the choices? Let’s just say they know how to keep you coming back. Trust me you’ll want to see this place for yourself.”

“Brand new store, clean and well kept and stocked with pretty much all the Frio River necessities. This store has quite a variety for your river needs. As you all may know alcoholic beverages were not really available in this area but that seems to have changed. They have alcoholic beverages for sale...(beer) here at Flip Flop. There is even a liquor store located right next door. On a side note it is kind of high priced but where else you gonna have access to the adult drinks. There is an outdoor patio located on the other side of the store and a really nice swimming pool. The pool is open to the public for a small fee. All in all they seem. Have hit a Homerun with this new store.”

“The B Happy General store is GREAT! It’s a little over a mile from Garner State Park in Concan, Texas. We went there for firewood because the park store wasn’t open. They have everything you could want or need in this store. From charcoal, to wine, baby items, cleaning supplies and RV supplies. Plenty of food stuff , snacks items as well as some staples. There were plenty of drink choices from alcohol ice beverages, coffee, iced coffee, soda and water. Check out all my pics and you’ve pretty much seen the contents of the store. Some other unexpected items that were here was shoes, clothing ( jeans/ shorts/ shorts and sweatshirts). They also had jewelry, souvenirs, a wide selection of greeting cards and don’t forget gas and propane bottles for your grill. The person at the counter was pleasant and efficient and. The store was clean. They also make pizza here, which we didn’t try this time. They have an ATM in case you forgot your wallet, Ice cream, ice cubes, grilling utensils and so much more. Stop in if you’ve forgotten something on your way to Garner State Park. ! Nice small store and very completely stocked. Highly recommend!”

“Came in here for beer and firewood- they got it all! This place is sort of a hodgepodge of everything you need around here. They've got all the snacks, drinks, and lotto you could ask for. Their beer selection is key when along the river, and they seem to specialize in canned beverages that you can take out on the river without getting in trouble. They also sell a whole bunch of river accessories, so t-shirts, bandanna, sunglasses, koozies, flip flops and the like. The canned goods are worth noting, since they've all been imported from across Texas and have all kinds of great flavors. If there's no wood on the porch, don't fret. They have a big ol' shipping container full of wood right out front. The clerk was nice when we went in. She had a customer keep an eye on the store while she helped us out with the firewood. The prices here were pretty high for firewood, but cheaper than buying it at the park. I don't think this place is ADA compliant with the steps to get in.”
