About Goodwill Thrift Store & Donation Center – Conroe
Goodwill Houston Store & Donation Center is a well-organized and clean place to find a variety of items at low prices. The store features a large selection of clothing, with well-arranged sections that make browsing easy. Housewares and shoes are displayed on racks, although sometimes they can be hard to see because they are placed on top of other items. The pricing is typical for Goodwill, with furniture offered at very reasonable prices. While some shoes, especially boots, can be priced over $20 even if damaged, there are many great finds in jackets and long-sleeved clothing, especially in colder seasons. The store is known for friendly and helpful staff, with many customers praising the courteous service they receive. One staff member, Rula, is especially appreciated for her warm and friendly attitude, often making shoppers feel valued and appreciated. Customers also highlight the store’s neatness and good organization, which enhances the shopping experience. However, there are some concerns about policies and staff interactions. Some shoppers have experienced difficulty with the store’s policy on carts in fitting rooms. A few employees, particularly one lady with gray hair, have been perceived as rude or condescending, especially when handling questions about storing carts or using fitting rooms. In one instance, a customer felt uncomfortable when an employee walked away during a conversation and made an announcement about no carts in the fitting room, leaving the customer feeling dismissed. Despite these issues, most staff members are described as genuine angels, providing excellent customer service. Many shoppers prefer this location for its friendly atmosphere, reasonable prices, and well-maintained environment, making it a favorite destination for thrift shopping in Houston.

This location is well organized, takes donations, and has tons of clothes available. Also, pretty decent spot for some sporting equipment!
