I just canceled my AAA auto policy after 10 years of poor customer service from countless-faceless phone agents with first names only, extremely long hold times, and loud-cheezey on-hold music while I am made to wait for them. The AAA phone app rarely works properly. AAA is assembly line insurance.I just went back to a real insurance company with a local agent who is courteous, helpful, and remembers my name. He does not keep me on hold and is genuinely concerned with my well-being. Avoid AAA at all costs.

Stop send me renewal notices 2 months out, along with constant reminders it's due, when i have 2 months before I need to pay it

My last two phone experiences (1-800# but my policy comes from this address) have been great! First on 01/22/24 I talked to Mayra who helped me cancel my home ins. policy. She was very polite and detailed. The second call was today (02/01/24) and I spoke with Tanecia who was also very polite. I had follow-up questions along with other questions and she answered ALL of them patiently and kindly. Neither one of them cut me off mid sentence and they both paid attention to what I was asking in order to accurately respond. Truly TWO great employees... now I want to speak to them whenever I call! Great Job Ladies!!!

Left my 76yo husband on the highway for 11 hours then canceled his call. Had to be admitted to ICU the following day for health issues. Car had no power. Ex military already had issues. Hospital bill $13,000+. AAA refused to return a call. Offered a $90. membership. Not the AAA Roadside assistance we signed up for.

Not worth the money at all. I usually end up having to call a tow truck, or whatever it is that I need. About a year ago, I had an encounter with one of AAA representatives to assist with my keys being locked in my truck. This guy was rude from the time he called. I work in a very large campus and he didn't listen to the directions I gave him and he got lost. He called back and became more rude. I called AAA and reported this. Later on, he texted me and we got into an argument. This guy took a text out of context and AAA took his side and canceled my membership. Thank you for the favor. You're a horribly operated company. Who else has 99 reviews at 2.2 out of 5 stars. Reviews tell the real story.

not surprised by the reviews on here.i had ron guy as my agent and he was very apathetic and unhelpful throughout the entire process. my mom recently died so i’ve had to change policies and he made each step of an already grueling process worse. he didn’t explain much nor help assist in the process - trying to get in contact with him was even more difficult.i decided to cancel my policy before it was even enacted because of the expensive price. instead of crediting it back on my card, he sent a check without asking any preference.the billing service representative was very helpful though and provided me info and apologies.

This insurance company STINKS. Their client totaled my parked truck at a job site and 4 weeks has gone by and there agents will NOT respond back. They stuck me in an under sized Truck with no electric trailer brakes Sabotaged me getting a truck they claimed was lined up and the agent Akshay Verma blocked enterprise rental and my phone basically Reneging on the rental. Dont care that pully my trailer without brakes is endangering my life. I will probably have to sue this company .. They havent contacted the repair shop either as they are getting agrivated too.

The disrespect I received from a supervisor was enough to say goodbye. I had locked my keys in my car at work. I called and was told someone would come at 1:15. I called at 12:45 to get an ETA. Only then was I told the company declined and that they was working to find someone else. If I never would’ve called I never would’ve known no one was coming at 1:15. I was then told someone would call me when they’re on their way. I explained then, that’s going to be impossible because we’re not allowed our phones inside my job. I explained to them I can’t stay by my car. The operator said “hhmmm” as if that was a solution to my problem. I then asked to speak to a supervisor. Spoke to a supervisor who told me I didn’t have to be by my car, and she would explain to them how I can’t get a phone call. She was supposed to call me back to confirm that was a go but she didn’t. I called and spoke to another representative who stated I did have to be by my car. So I came up with a solution that I’ll set up a future time at 4. I again explained that I wouldn’t be able to answer the phone before 4, however please still come. I even asked them if I didn’t answer before 4 will they cancel my service. Never got a yes or no, just attitude repeating the same thing that didn’t answer my question. So 4 o clock comes, I get to the phone I was using since mines was locked in my car. Sure enough they called around the time I clearly said I wouldn’t be able to answer asking do I still need service. As if I ever called and said I didn’t. So I had to call and speak to another supervisor. Just for the games to start all over. One minute I was told someone would be there at 5:35. The supervisor calls me back and tries to casually tell me they’re working on it, and someone will be to me as quick as they can. So I ask well what happened to 5:35. I was told that’s 25 minutes away and someone is trying to get to me ASAP and now my time I was giving means nothing. I explained I was in the middle of nowhere, it’s getting later and the guy who’s phone I was using was about to go because we now have been at this since 4. Well for some reason in return I got back joy of laughter. I became the funniest comedian because the SUPERVISOR thought that was the perfect time to laugh. Needless to say I finally got someone out at 6:45. There’s no way I would stay a customer with a company that thinks that little of their customers.

Auto deducted annual membership from my checking without my authorization leaving me with an over drafted account and no way to buy gas. They won't take responsibility or fix it. It's been sitting "pending" on my account for days and the bank can't even reverse it.

Worst service ever! Worst customer service as well. Would not recommend.If I could give it 0 stars I would.My car broke down, waited 2 hours and STILL NO ONE CAME TO HELP.I had to get a ride home myselfThen I called the next day to set up an appointment for the following dayThey said they can’t give me an appointment after 4 pmI had work that day and would not be able to get there before 4So I asked them to please tow my car to my home AT LEASTThey said no one would pick up my car if I wasn’t physically presentHow am I supposed to be physically present with my car when my car had to be LEFT at the last place because they didn’t come in a timely manner the first time?I’m not paying for an Uber or a Lyft to get me back there again?

We've been members for 25 years and things are vastly different now. Not only are the difficult to contact they send inexperienced tow truck drivers to your location which have very little, if any knowledge of your particular vehicle, BEWARE is all I can tell you if you read this review. We are searching for a non insurance alternative. They left us stranded on the side of the road last night and after 4 hrs. GMC was contacted and sent someone to tow us.
