Ace Hardware North Padre has been a fixture on the island for over 10 years. In 2019, it was purchased by David & Amy Doyle of Sunset & Co. and underwent an extensive remodeling and inventory upgrade to better serve the residents and visitors of North Padre Island. Conveniently located, the store is staffed with trained associates, making it a "Fun Place to Shop". Customers praise the great friendly staff, who are knowledgeable and always willing to help with project needs. The store has a wide selection, carrying everything from plumbing and hardware to marine and automotive supplies. While slightly more expensive than larger chains, the convenience and great customer service make it a reasonable choice for North Padre Island residents and visitors.
