“The manager of the store at Ayers in Corpus Christi has been very helpful during the current pandemic. He has gone above and beyond to help the senior citizens that are stay at home. one time I needed an item and he did not have it he even checked at another store to help me find it. Also has helped out with masks when available. He has been helpful by communicating in a very professional manner for special needs. To the normal person this may not seem like a big deal...but when a senior citizen in a wheelchair with immune issues and husband and wife over 60 staying safe, it means the world to us!”

Definitely not afraid to walk into this store without wearing my mask here. Love shopping for seasonal decorations here! Clerks are always friendly and seem to know when you do and do not want your receipt.”
“I noticed an employee throwing away packages food crackers, cookies, etc because they were going to expire within a week.. and while walking to dumpster passed a homeless man who was disabled and in early 70s.. nobody did anything wrong but curious why can't you take those items and donate to a homeless shelter or something like that . People are starving and food is just thrown away .breaks my heart .you guys are great and I'm not complaining just wondering”

Went to the DG on Ayers, had a $3 return (with reciept & tags, within 30 days of purchase) to apply to a new $20 purchase and the rude lady at checkout denied my return "because it's already January". I hope this store on Navigation recognizes the kind lady. Thank you again.”

“This is my local Dollar General. They just underwent a remodeling. The store is nicely set up. For the most part especially lately the employees have been very polite and helpful. A while back there were some employees that were not so polite but I haven’t seen those same people in quite some time,They extended the cold and frozen foods to line 2 walls instead of just one and a half. They seem to have more merchandise. They still have Christmas stuff on clearance.The store is relatively clean, but there are usually only two employees so I assume it’s not quite as easy to pick up things that people drop. Throughout the whole store. The only problem I saw on the floor was someone had knocked all the hangers down, and they hadn’t been picked up yet. Otherwise, the clerk was extremely politeOverall it was an excellent experience. By the way, another Dollar General opened just a couple of miles away at Yorktown and Waldron. Look for reviews on that. It seems to be a much larger store with a much greater selection, but surprisingly, there are no clerks. All machines are self-serve and they do not take EBT thus far and it been several months.”

“I was impressed by the installation of new refrigerators. The store is clean and everything in place. The cashier was working on the floor, but she seemed to know when we were ready to cash out. She had a genuine smile. I rarely go to Family Dollar, but I will be going there more often. I will be using my app to save monies as well since I am a senior citizen. I am impressed and enjoyed going to Family Dollar.”

“Dollar Tree is pretty good about stocking holiday decor but toothpaste, detergents,and other household items have large gaps on the shelves. Ripe olives come in a can about half the size as before and now 1.25.”

“There's no shortage on parking spaces. This store had some decent stuff. The shelves were about as neat as a discount store could get. This store feels like a Big Lots but it is discounted. I would say that the only thing holding it back a star is that they don't really have anything interesting that me or the wife like. However, good store to visit. Please don't let my one star off hold you back! 4/5 stars!”
