This Dollar General location has recently undergone a remodeling and is now nicely set up. The store is relatively clean and seems to have more merchandise, including Christmas items on clearance. A notable improvement is the extension of the cold and frozen foods, which now line two walls instead of just one and a half. For the most part, especially lately, the employees have been very polite and helpful, with clerks described as extremely polite and wonderful. While there were some less polite employees in the past, those individuals have not been seen in quite some time. Typically, there are only two employees working, which can make it difficult to immediately pick up items dropped throughout the store or to address isolated issues like knocked-down hangers. Overall, customers report an excellent experience, noting the store is fast and usually has everything they are looking for with great deals. It is worth noting that another, much larger Dollar General with a greater selection has opened a couple of miles away at Yorktown and Waldron. That newer store operates with all self-serve machines and, surprisingly, has no clerks and does not accept EBT.
Their cashier Chris did a great job of managing the line and helping me find my items.

I really like Dollar General I personally call it the D G store it's fast they always have everything I'm looking for with great deals to boot employees are wonderful help kind for questions if needed my puppy also just loves the D G.
