“My puppy Holly was sick. She was not eating or drinking, and she threw up a couple of times. I was very concerned and worried about her. I found the Animal Medical Center online, and it was close to my Home.The first thing I noticed when I arrived was how clean everything is, and the ladies at the receptionist desk are very welcoming.The Vet tech's are so friendly, and helpful. The Veterinarian Dr. Schneider is the utmost professional. I liked her from the start. She takes her time with you, and always asks if you have any questions. She gave Holly a full exam, and then we discussed all of her treatment options. I really liked the way that she explains each option and offers you a printed estimate showing the cost of each one. That way you understand everything up front. She will offer her opinion on where to start, but ultimately it is up to you. I decided to leave Holly there all day for the treatment options we chose and for her to be observed. I was told that I could call to check on her at anytime through out the day, and that they would call me if there were any changes that needed my attention. I did call to check on her. The receptionist was so polite and informative. I found that to be so reassuring. I picked Holly up at the end of the day. The Vet tech came in first. She talked with me a bit about Holly's day, and she showed me a video of Holly eating! Dr. Schneider came in after to talk about Holly's care. She showed me the X-ray she took of Holly, and read me the results of her blood work. She also explained in detail everything that was done, and what might need to be done in the future going forward, if for some reason she didn't show anymore of an improvement. I have had such a wonderful experience at this Animal Hospital. Every single person who works here is amazing. So caring, and thoughtful. You can tell they love the animals and want to help in every way possible. I would highly recommend you start bringing your fur baby here. Especially if you want the best care for them.”

“This is the best vet clinic. They are so kind to the animals and very professional. I have 3 dogs and 5 cats and they have been so good to all of them. I have a senior dog they take care of and they have really helped me make her quality of life good. They have spayed and neutered many animals for me and even did a c-section for one of my cats. They are the absolute best!!”
“I have seen multiple doctors here and all of them and everyone else I've met here has been so friendly. Over the last fews years we've moved around a bit so we've been to several vets. This was the first to diagnose potential CCL tears in both of my dogs knees, even though that's not why we were there and she didn't have any symptoms. We later saw an orthopedic surgeon at GCVS and it was confirmed. So thankful the Lake Parkway vet caught that so early!
Several vets I've seen in the past have had apps but Pet Desk, the one they use here, is an actual useful one. You can make appointments, send messages, request refills, etc It's great to be able to do those things when you think about them without having to wait until they open.”

“We have been using Atascazoo for going on 10 years I believe. They have been there through thick and thin with our 2 cats. They caught a tumer in our 15 yo cat that the 24 hour emergency vet missed. Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to Thumper that year. They have been very kind and supportive. Our other cat Moetoes is now 19, they treat her as if she is the only cat they treat and shower her with attention when we come in. The staff and Dr.'s are amazing! ??”

“Good place for your pet (pets). I have 3 and they take good care of them.If you really want to save money get there insurance, it's great and cover's everything except some medicine. You can't go wrong with it or with them. Very cordial, serious,staff. Check them out what do you have to loose except maybe your pet.”

“Dr. Burns has been our vet for 25 years. She has loved our furr babies and treated them like her own. She has guided us through some of the hardest decisions with our pets. She is kind and compassionate. We have always appreciated her quick wit and “tell it like it is“ attitude. She is truly one of a kind.”
“I waited too long to try this place. I’ve always faithfully driven across town to a practice, and I’ve had a great Dr right down the road. I was mostly impressed with the thoroughness in explanation and the time he took with my Ellie, but you can tell he’s a good guy all around. Thank you!”
“Three years ago a 6 month old stray came to our door. His eyes were matted shut, he had mange and you could clearly see his ribs & hip bones. I tried nursing him as best as we could but worried about how we found him I took him in for a check up. The staff was super amazing helped us get him back on his feet and he is now a thriving member of our family.
Fast forward 3 years, another stray came to us. This one had his ear swollen and looked underweight. I called on a Friday afternoon and they couldn’t get me in until Monday. I asked if there was anything I could do to help relieve his discomfort. The receptionist put me on hold and asked if I could come in 45 minutes they would try to squeeze me in. They took great care with him. While we’re were there they also had another emergency come in & we’re juggling all of it. During that time they still provided detailed treatment options with upfront pricing explanations. I’m glad to know they still continue to do their best with difficult situations.”
