“My cat has been going here for a couple years after they were able to get her in due to an emergency. Recently, Milo (my cat) has been seen by Dr. Herrod who has been amazing in figuring things out for her. She was able to see Milo prior to a procedure to rule out an infection and has given many recommendations to help her. I am really grateful for this as my cat is my little baby and having someone care for her and not make it seem like it's about a cash-grab is relieving.”
“Our regular vet couldn't get our fur baby in for an emergency visit. Panicked, I looked on a map for the closest vet. When I called the front staff was super compassionate and got us in within 20 minutes of calling and hitting the road. They made us feel welcomed and took the time to help our little pup feel better. The staff and doc were great and very caring. It had a mom and pop feel with specialized care. They actually checked in the next day to see if she was doing better. Also, very reasonable pricing considering an emergency appointment for a new patient with multiple tests. HIGHLY RECOMMEND giving them a call! Will be back for routine care! Thank you again.

“Dr. Reid is the most thorough and caring vet! My lab mix is always intimidated going into the vet but after meeting Dr. Reid his tail wagged faster than I’ve ever seen before. “The hardest part of owning an animal is having to play God and make the decision to give them a first class ticket to heaven. Yesterday, I had to do that for my 18 year old 12 pound Welch Corgi Toy Aussie mix, Milli. My experience at Hooves and Paws was absolutely incredible. Even though Milli’s primary vet, Dr. Lensey Watson, is out on maternity leave, she was there for my daughter and me via text from the time of Milli’s diagnosis at noon to them allowing me to take Milli to McDonalds for her favorite last meal which was a double cheeseburger, a McChicken sandwich, some french fries and a few bites of vanilla ice cream, and finally to me carrying her while my 9 year old daughter and I took all three of our dogs on their last walk together before driving back to the clinic. Dr. Wuensche, the vet techs, and the front desk staff were so patient, kind, compassionate, supportive and understanding. Dr. Wuensche took his time and explained to my 9 year old daughter what each step was and how it would effect Milli, and he expressed to her that he wished he could fix her but that this was the right decision and the right time. Dr. Wuensche asked if my daughter was okay throughout the entire process and gave her a hug once Milli crossed over the rainbow. It’s never easy. It’s hard and it sucks, but it was the most amazing experience for my daughter and me. I wouldn’t trust any other vet clinic other than Hooves and Paws pet hospital to help a family or animal through this difficult time. 10/10 highly recommended.”
“I’m very grateful I went to this place. Everyone was extremely kind and truly took great care of my puppy. Both the vet and the nurse were very compassionate and took the time to explain everything I needed to do to help my puppy recover. Thanks to them, my puppy did just fine. “We have been going to Lakeshore animal clinic for years. Dr. Parker is more than a veterinarian but a friend that engages in showing an interest in you and your furry family member (baby).
She was with us when we rescued Annie our lab all the way to her life end—-this was a very very difficult time and she stayed in touch throughout. We were just there today (Jan 20) and she spends time sharing life experiences—has built such a bond with our other dog Peaches—she is compassionate—and wants the best—even when it’s hard to hear a diagnosis—there are options and a clear moment to advise and help understand.
The staff has always been friendly and accommodating—I want to thank Dr. Parker for all she has done for us—all that she has been— thank you for all you do! Lisa Cave and Peaches and those before her!!!”

“Incredibly convenient and professional. A great alternative to going to a vet. They even called us and said to come in whenever since they had multiple cancelations. About 4 people did show up when we arrived, and they were able to see us all despite the fact that the clinic had officially closed for the day. They were amazing in dealing with our less than cooperative dog and were able to get him caught up on everything he needed. They provided us with documentation, a tag, and important information about our visit. Special shout out to Dr. Emily Couvillion and her team! 10/10 would recommend. We will be back!”
“We found this clinic a few years ago and it’s our go to clinic for all of our pets. They are so caring, friendly and reasonably priced. Our little rescue dog recently had 27 teeth removed. She has not shown any signs of distress or discomfort. They gave us plenty of instruction and an action plan if it came to that. Highly recommend”

“We've only been here once but had a good experience. We came for a second opinion. Vet was very nice and personable, explained everything very thoroughly and told us she agreed with the treatment plan our vet had us on. She alerted us to a potential abdominal issue with our dog so she recommended we get an abdominal ultrasound. All in all it was a good visit and a good investment of time and money to confirm what was going on with our dog's health. I would definitely consider making them our primary vet if we lived closer.”

We’re so happy we found Dr. Rogers in Frisco! She did a spay on our rabbit, and everything went well. The first day after surgery was a little rough, but by day two our bunny was back to her happy, normal self. Highly recommend her for anyone needing a bunny spay or neuter!”
“I cannot say enough good things about this vet. The front desk staff, the techs, and the vets are all so extremely knowledgeable while still being the kindest people. One of our babies has a thyroid issue and all of the vets have taken time to talk us through exactly whats going on and the next steps, we never felt rushed through our questions. Not gonna lie, they are not the most cost effective vet but you more than get your money's worth here.”
“The folks at CAH are great!! We have been looking for a Great Vet for our 3 year old BGSD for 2 years..no one would take the time to know him and gental he was..he just looks like a black wolf..they did at CAH..he got to know them in about 4 minutes..and then they were added to his "pack".. he follows the Dr. and nurses around and sits and lays down on command..they were amazed..sweet boy..thank you CAH!!”

SERVICE: Genuine and gentle with my dog.
HONESTY: Like no other. I had one vet tell me my dog needed surgery within 2 weeks to remove a mole. Called South Denton and they told me to wait a few weeks, and the bump went down on its own...
I took my dog here while in college. I moved to Plano and it seems I cannot trust any other vet. I still make the drive to Denton to take my girl here.”
