“My pup is a senior little fellow with some medical conditions. He has been treated at AAMC for a few years. Because of his age, I had been hesitant of leaving him with a pet sitter or Boarding so we stopped traveling without him for years now. I was thrilled when Dr Head announced they would begin offering Boarding services at their location.
I recently left my baby with AAMC Boarding during my vacation to Florida and had such a wonderful experience. I was updated on how he was doing and received photos and video. I felt at ease and knew he was definitely in good hands with Dr Head and her staff. When I picked him up and at home he just seemed so relaxed and happy.
I made the right decision and look forward to having them help me with Boarding again alongside their usual vet care for my boy.
Definitely recommend to anyone!”

“Dr. Kahan and his staff have truly been incredible through one of the most stressful situations we’ve ever experienced with our dog, Mamba. After Mamba suffered a traumatic dog attack at daycare, he underwent emergency surgery for a severe laceration in his genital region. Unfortunately, the original sutures did not hold, and the wound became open and infected.
Dr. Kahan’s office immediately took Mamba in, and from that moment on, the level of care we received completely blew me away. Every single staff member was patient, compassionate, and thorough in explaining every detail of his treatment and recovery. During a time filled with anxiety and uncertainty, they made us feel supported and reassured every step of the way. Thanks to their care, Mamba is finally on the road to recovery.
One thing that means so much to us is how understanding they’ve been about Mamba’s fear and anxiety at the vet. He becomes extremely nervous and can even act aggressively, which is completely out of character for him. Not once has the staff treated him differently because of it. They’ve handled him with patience, kindness, and compassion every single visit.
Dr. Kahan even gave us his personal cell phone number to check in on Mamba, which I truly feel is above and beyond the level of care most people would expect. We are so grateful to have found such a caring, dedicated veterinarian and staff. Thank you for taking such amazing care of our boy.”

“Incredibly convenient and professional. A great alternative to going to a vet. They even called us and said to come in whenever since they had multiple cancelations. About 4 people did show up when we arrived, and they were able to see us all despite the fact that the clinic had officially closed for the day. They were amazing in dealing with our less than cooperative dog and were able to get him caught up on everything he needed. “We've only been here once but had a good experience. We came for a second opinion. Vet was very nice and personable, explained everything very thoroughly and told us she agreed with the treatment plan our vet had us on. She alerted us to a potential abdominal issue with our dog so she recommended we get an abdominal ultrasound. All in all it was a good visit and a good investment of time and money to confirm what was going on with our dog's health. I would definitely consider making them our primary vet if we lived closer.”
