“I was ready for an upgrade to my wedding ring and had my heart set on a Le Vian ring that I had seen online. Since only a few jewelry stores near me carry Le Vian, I decided to visit Kay Jewelers at Hulen Mall. I prefer shopping in person because I like being able to try on jewelry and get a feel for how it looks and feels before making such an important purchase.
I had recently had a less-than-great experience at another well-known jewelry store, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. As soon as I walked into Kay Jewelers, I was greeted by the store manager, Kara. She was helping another customer but immediately acknowledged me and let me know she would be happy to help as soon as she finished. That first interaction already made me feel welcome.
While I waited, I looked around and noticed a ring that caught my eye. When Kara was available, she took the time to help me find the perfect ring. She also made an amazing recommendation for an add-on piece that would give my ring the extra width and look I wanted. It was something I never would have thought of on my own, and it ended up making such a beautiful difference.
What really stood out to me was how much time and attention Kara gave us. She never rushed us or made us feel pressured to buy anything. She offered us water, made sure we were comfortable, listened carefully to what I wanted, and gave thoughtful recommendations based on what she knew I was looking for. That kind of personal attention is hard to find these days.
It was also Fourth of July weekend, so we were fortunate enough to get a great deal, which was an added bonus. However, the price wasn’t the main reason we chose to purchase from this location. Kara’s customer service was the deciding factor for my husband. When you’re spending a significant amount of money on something as meaningful as a wedding ring, you want to feel like more than just a commission. You want to feel like a valued customer and someone they genuinely want to build a relationship with. Kara made us feel exactly that way.
When I returned to pick up my add-on ring, I was so excited—and even more thrilled when I saw how beautifully everything looked together. It was exactly what I had envisioned.
I would absolutely recommend this Kay Jewelers location, and especially Kara, to anyone looking for a great jewelry-buying experience. She truly listens, understands what you’re looking for, and knows how to make thoughtful recommendations without ever being pushy. She just gets it, and that makes all the difference when you’re making such a special and expensive purchase.
The rest of the ladies at this location were also very polite, friendly, and courteous, so you really can’t go wrong. But Kara is definitely the reason we will be coming back. I highly recommend this location!”
