I reserved a luxury vehicle, but when I went to pick it up they said they were limited on cars, and gave me a dirty Mazda. Not to mention someone’s long red hair was still in the seats. The vehicle was gross, the staff acted like they hated their job-

This was the worst rental car experience we’ve ever had. Do NOT use Budget or Avis Dallas Love ever. They insisted we use an electric vehicle although we didn’t want to. They insisted it would be already charged at 100% & we wouldn’t have to charge it at all for the brief time we’d be traveling. We arrived at our car & it was only charged to 74% & they charge you if you return it less than 70%. When I asked if it could be charged they said it would be hours. When we tried to wait in the customer service line in order to switch to a different vehicle, there were 15 people in line but they wouldn’t help anyone in line before the first person was taken care of & there was an issue with their car that was taking over 40 minutes. When we took the shuttle to return to the airport service desk their computers stopped working (not their fault). It took 2 hours for us to get a car which we were only finally able to do because of a wonderful, helpful man at the service desk named Chica. Thank you Chica.

I was given a honda crv that had maintenence required and low tire pressure to start off.I realized there was no windshield wiper fluid. I went and had the tires aired up but the light never went off. I returned the vehicle at 4ish on 12/25 to the lot . Really Budget?! This is how you do your customers. I am very disappointed. Why did I have to do anything but put gas in the car?

The front desk customer service was horrible and the orginal car given and the replacement car were both FILTHY!!!! Your employees need customer service training and learn how to vaccum and wipe down a car.

Our check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient. The car was ready and waiting for us when we arrived at the lot. We did not even have to walk to find the car as the transport dropped us off at the exact spot of the car. No waiting. Easy breezy and very fairly priced. We will use Budget/Avis again in the future.

Worse car rental experience in forty years. Staff at time of pick up were not helpful at all. Only electric car available even though I had a reservation. Did not explain anything. Just sent me on my way. Very rude. I paid $200 more than other places and expected better service and communication. I wish I had read other reviews before booking. Lesson learned. Stay away from this location.

Fuel recharge fraud at this location. Return agent saying I'm "all good" and will send receipt, just to sneak in a one gallon fuel charge of 8.99 on my bill. Make sure to look at your bill after they send it. Worst case, call customer service and let them know, and they will reverse the charge. Extremely frustrating since this isn't the first time I've had this happen. It's literally theft and fraud, and we just accept it? There needs to be an investigation

Worst rental car ever received from Budget. Banged up on the outside and filthy on the inside.To top off the matter, on 11/20/23 I received a letter from Budget stating they were charging $450.00 to my credit card used for the rental for cleaning service. As you might imagine, that did not go over well with me. I called Customer Service and expressed my concerns, to which the agent said she would "take my word for it" and reverse the charges. I'm still a bit "hot" over the incident. My 20 plus years as a Budget customer may be over.

When I booked the car (along with my airline tickets from Southwest), I was quoted just under $200. for pickup on Tuesday, drop off on Thursday. When we arrived to pick up the car, there were taxes and fees that brought the total to over $250. THEN, I was charged in advance for road tolls in Dallas. The total came to over $350. (There is NO WAY we used over $100. in tolls, so that's a scam) On top of that, a $200. deposit. NOW, when I expressed my outrage and severe displeasure to the clerk, she simply said, "Yes, everyone reacts that way". If EVERYONE REACTS THAT WAY, I would say that your business model is SEVERELY flawed. I will NEVER use Budget, or Avis again.

Thus trip was not good. Let me start with the employees we're trying very hard to accommodate no one was rude but here's what happened. Got in line at airport to get car in Dallas, stood for almost an hour then the attendant came to my prt of the line and everyone behind me and told us go get on the bus to cars we are closing. Got on bus get to car station like twice as long there. Stood in line for over 2 hours before getting through for car. Car was fine but what a mess. Hope they figure things out!

When we arrived on time at the airport, we were told there wasn't any cars for us even though we had a reservation. Our reservation was for a full-size car and they were only able to find a very small electric car for us at Avis. We were told it was our only option. The car was dirty - we had them run it though the car wash before we left the lot and there wasn't any info in the car about the particulars of this kind of car. We had never driven an electric car before and had to figure things out as we went along. And, even though we reserved a full sized car and only was given a very small car, we were still billed the full amount for the full sized car. We reserved the car through Costco, and we'll be letting them know how well Budget takes care of their Costco customers.

Rented from Dallas Love Field Airport, car had wipers that were falling apart & vibrating when using the brakes. Called customer service and was told to return it for an exchange, we were already 3 hrs away from that location. I will never rent from Budget again.

The airport terminal counter was closed at 8:30pm and had to be shuttled to a remote site where there was a long line. The wait for the car retrieval was a disastrous, inefficient and unorganized process that took almost 2 hours despite multiple attempts to ask for assistance. All gave incorrect information. There was some process where all cars had to go through a car wash first and was then to be brought to us. It was never brought to us and I was instructed to go to the car wash line and ask. They pointed to the long double row of cars waiting to be washed. after an hour and half, I found a 4th Budget person, sitting in a car, that asked if he could help us. I gave him my paper work and he directed us to a park space where the car was parked with water on the outside. This service is unacceptable and unless there are changes, I would not use this company again. There was no customer service and their employees working the car lot were poorly informed and offered no assistance until the final gentleman did. I wish I had gotten his name to thank him!

I was in a line for 1.5 hours! Horrible customer service ! Slow slow slow ! If you are in a hurry go somewhere else !
