“I was here last year and then came back yesterday for some wagyu steak. The quality dropped and service was worse as well. The marbling of the steak is not as good, and it's tougher (I made sure to cook the steaks the same way)”

“Always excellent customer service at this location. The ladies who prepare and serve the delicious fresh food—like Angie, for example—do so with genuine care and grace. The cashiers, including Carmen, are consistently courteous and a pleasure to interact with. It's such a convenience to have this micromarket in our neighborhood, and the staff truly make it a welcoming place to visit. That said, there’s room for improvement in the quality and variety of the fresh produce.”

“Good morning. Today I went with my mother to this location. I admit this their food is delicious. Their variety is great, their food is hot and fresh. The price for this plate is affordable. I have no complaints. The chefs/cooks are very nice, well respected, kind, great on customer services, they are very details what kind of food they are selling/serving. They have tables to sit inside in this grocery store. Inside the store, where you sit and eat the store is very clean. I recommend anyone who wants to try this location.”

Great service, their food is not salty at all!!! unfortunately, in the Hispanic/Latino community, the consumption of salt is a major problem and perhaps that is the reason a lot of people don't like it. El Rancho quality has been going from bad to worse therefore I looked for another place nearby and I found this incredible place!!!!”

“This is my new favorite taqueria, even if they don't have iced tea. What's up with that? Probably more net profit than the Torta or Burrito I just threw down my cake hole. This is what the hipsters call Mexican street food, but it's not really it's just a full service meat market and grocery store. Yes you can have lunch for two for way under $10 and to say the food is delicious would be an understatement. I love this place. You should probably go there now.”
“I came here with my mom looking for tortillas-homemade tortillas. We found them and much more when we got a glance at their produce section! They had better looking, fresher produce than what I've been seeing at Kroger, Walmart & Tom Thumb; and it was cheaper! My mom and I started bagging pounds and pounds of peppers, onions, potatoes, etc since we had my sister's wedding coming up and needed to mass produce Indian food. We paid $11 for everything and we couldn't be happier. This place is right in the middle of my drive to my mom's place. She and I will be making lots of pit stops here on our drives.”

“Evan’s is a special place. Try the drumsticks, pastrami, chicken salad and steaks. Gumbo is to write home about! Sides are all 5 star. Evan puts his Cajun background in all his stuff. He’s also got a new shop opening in north Dallas. His help are friendly and knowledgeable.”
