Chase Bank receives mixed reviews from customers regarding its branch services and account management. The people at the shop are often described as great, with specific praise for one helpful employee who provided essential notary service. However, other employees are criticized as unmotivated, with concerns raised about a lack of leadership and customer service. Customers report that lunch breaks for staff sometimes seem more important than assisting clients. A significant operational issue is that the ATM machines are frequently down, forcing customers to use tellers for cash withdrawals. This may be related to area vandalism. When interacting with tellers, service can be inconsistent, with some appearing unavailable even while open. More serious complaints involve account management. One customer reported their account was frozen after depositing an insurance check, with their general funds locked without prior notification by call, email, or text. This caused major hardship, preventing payment for rent, food, and bills. Customer service was unhelpful, providing vague timelines for resolution and directing conversations elsewhere, leading to a feeling that Chase does not have the customer's back. Some customers plan to close their accounts after such experiences, feeling their money is not secure.
Don’t waste your time here, been waiting for 2 hours just to open an account and didn’t even end up opening it, probably the worst experience and customer service I have ever seen this wouldn’t happen in my other banks, rude and unprofessional

Very rude customer service. Along with the Dallas Police officer working security.

I can only comment on Karla Fernandez, an officer at Chase. She was wonderful and helpful in opening a new account.
