The Dallas Theater Center is one of the leading regional theaters in the country, performing to an audience of more than 90,000 North Texas residents annually. Founded in 1959, the theater is now a resident company of the AT&T Performing Arts Center and presents its mainstage season at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre in the Dallas Arts District, as well as at its original home, the Kalita Humphreys Theater in Dallas. The theater engages, entertains, and inspires a diverse community by consistently producing plays, educational programs, and community initiatives of the highest quality. Reviewers praise the theater's wonderful staff, great acoustics, and fantastic performances, with no bad seats in the small yet inviting venue. The theater has also been commended for its efforts to keep audiences safe and healthy during the pandemic.
Very enjoyable experience at A Christmas Carol this year. Small theater so great views of the stage from everywhere. Plenty of legroom as opposed to other theaters in Dallas.
