I'm in love with this hotel, the service is amazing and the bar food is pretty good. Central to a lot of food options and a 5min drive to the highway, 15-20mins to Dal Love Field. The only reason I'm giving the room a 3, and i really hate too, is because of the way they have the air conditioning setup. They have a sensor, similar to other hotels that automatically adjust the air conditioning up when it thinks no one is in the room. Example, i had the air on 66, after a while it starts leveling the temp out to 69-70. Which causes it to be hot in the room bc the air takes forever to get back to that temp. I've woken up sweating 2 of my last 3 stays. Get this fixed, this has been this way since i started staying in 21-22.

I am currently staying at hotel indigo Dallas for an esthetics conference at the convention center. I chose this hotel because of the group rate and the proximity it is to the convention center. Lazarus at the front desk was extremely kind, and helpful, I definitely give him 5 stars for his customer service. I had to be moved rooms because the first one I was in had an unusual humming noise that was constant. My new room that I am in is gorgeous but the noise is HORRIBLE. You can hear every bit of traffic driving by; the sirens, the cars, the exhaust, the music in the park, even if people are being loud on the sidewalk. I am on the 8th floor, so not close to the ground and I can still hear everything. The hotel provides earplugs, which should have been a tell tale sign of what was to come. If you don't sleep with them in, you won't be getting any sleep at all. The room itself is mostly clean, you can tell the staff doesn't clean between the vanity and the wall as it looks like there is spilled products on the floor, and hair that definitely isn't mine. Valet cost $44/night on top of the room cost, which to me is ridiculous. If you self park it is $19/day but there are NO in/out privileges. Also, the valet is SLOW. I ate at the restaurant here in the lobby and it was good, but not worth the wait. There was ONE man working the entire restaurant and bar. He was extremely friendly and did the best he could, but he couldn't keep up. I was there for 1hr40min just for chips/queso, a burger, and a slice of cheesecake Togo. There were also table settings that were used and dirty from breakfast earlier that morning (which is disgusting). I would not recommend staying here, the convenience in location does not make up for all the downfalls. I think I will stay on the outskirts of town next time where I don't have to listen to road noise all hours of the night, or pay $88 in parking fees.Rooms: The room is pretty, but not worth the cost because of the noise.Walkability: Very walkable as it is right in the middle of downtown. There is a huge number of homeless people around, so just be mindful if you're traveling alone. It's really heart breaking to see.Food & drinks: Food was good, nothing absolutely spectacular, but it wasn't bad. There are a lot of restaurants near by though.

I didn’t stay here but had a great experience with the valet. I had got lost finding my hotel and asked for directions, the valet could see I was frustrated and offered to take me in their shuttle. I will definitely be back to this city and my next stay will be here!

This is a nice hotel. Right in the center. Good access to parking. The staff are nice and it serves its purpose. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the room TV has only local channels, the night club next to it has shootings, and the lighting in the room is weird.

It's a cozy place, and it's updated to be pretty modern too. It's a great place to stay for the local convention hall, as friends and I stayed here for TFF and it wasn't a very far distance at all to get to the convention hall. I do recommend staying here.Nearby activities: The convention hall in the area at the Sharaton is nearby and can be walked to in less than 15 minutes. There's plenty of REALLY good food places, barbecue and burgers especially, that are nearby. Can't skimp out on that gooooood Texas BBQ!Walkability: It's in a good spot to walk to many local businesses/food establishments.

Nobody cares about their job here. The bartender is the worst. He seems checked out of life and it is very sad because he is relatively young. The location is great as it is in the heart of

I’m soon to stay here for a third time. This hotel is rich in history, beautiful, and aesthetically pleasing. The bar is great and the breakfast is yummy. Only issues I have are that the rooms are small (due to the historic rooming house setup of its inception), and that the restaurant doesn’t serve mimosas or cocktails for breakfast/brunch as they have no bartender on staff in the mornings. All can be overlooked though because it’s just such a cool hotel. Best of all perhaps is that it’s centrally located and easily accessible to restaurants, theaters, pubs, art galleries, etc. You can walk to just about anywhere you can imagine downtown. I’m looking forward to my next trip in a couple of weeks to take my eight-year-old niece on a “fancy” hotel stay with a walk across the street to the Majestic for a show.Nearby activities: Pubs, Art Galleries, Restaurants, Theater, ShoppingFood & drinks: Nice restaurant and bar. Breakfast was tasty, just don’t expect a boozy brunch! Evenings at the bar are quite enjoyable.

The reason for the two stars is that this is not on the level of a hotel Indigo. I am a platinum member with IHG and have stayed at several indigos throughout this US and overseas. This is the worst one I have stayed at. Things in the room were old, broken, and worn. Food in the restaurant was poor as well. The ventilation system kicks on with a loud this and kept waking up at night. No maid came for the first two days and the gym was also small. Overall, I could not wait to check out.
