Getting checked out is horrible. It was 10:30 am in the morning and there were no cashiers!! I had a full cart of groceries and wanted to use my own bags. The self checkout is a joke! It’s heavily against shoppers with a lot of items and against those who want to use their own bags to save the environment. There is no service at all at this store. It’s a miserable experience!! This has happened multiple times. I’m looking for another grocery store to shop at. I’m tired of the lack of checkout service!

Easily the worst location in DFW with respect to checkout. Been here for 3 months and always like this when more than 30 total customers are in the building.

This store has become my favorite. I visit it more than the Walmart down the street. I always find everything I need at very competitive prices without the big Walmart crowd. It opens up very early and closes way after Walmart. The beer and wine section is right next to the exit door for a quick in and out purchase. Meat is cheaper than many other places. There's plenty of self checkout counters

Love the people at this store! Gary really knows his cheeses and Carolyn always remembers what meats I want. The good employees at this store are what make it GREAT!! Dinner is yummy pepper Jack cheese, Boar’s head ham and chips. Simple but awesome!!

The store sold us expired deli meat, called and was told that we could a refund for the item. Came in and the night manager was very condescending, we needed the physical receipt even though we showed him the receipt through the app. This was not told to us when we first called. Understood that we needed the printed receipt but his attitude was not necessary.

Check your expiration dates! Bought this bacon last night, October 21st, and it is stamped with a freeze/use by date of August. There's even a small greenish spot on the back, indicative of bacteria growth. This could get someone sick!

Just received a long, very rude lecture from the employee loading my groceries in the pickup lane. She was upset that I didn’t check in before arriving…. I tried explaining to her that I literally live in the apartments across the street. This made it worse… she even gave me the ‘you’re not the only customer’ line…The only reason I even ordered pickup is because I am sick with covid.After this I wont be a customer at all. Will happily drive 10 miles to HEB for future grocery pickups to avoid having to hear how hard it is to work at a grocery store. Seriously, quit your job if you’re that miserable there. Don’t take it out on customers. 0/10 would not recommend

This store charged my card and claimed it declined. I showed them my online banking where the charge went through. Not just pending but approved and completed. Even called the bank and had a banker tell them that the transaction had posted to my account. They claim they never charged me, would not let ne take my product that I paid for or offer a refund. They want me to come back tomorrow when I will be out of town. They could have done so much more to keep the customer happyDO NOT SHOP HERE

Came to return one item, they had 2 cashiers, one left right as we got to the front of the line, took a long time for the singular cashier to finish with the people in front of us. As we were waiting another 8 people got in line behind us but noone showed up to help. When it was finally our turn the cashier didn't even give me my whole return amount, I only realized when I got back to my car and I wasn't about to wait in line for another 20 minutes. Very very poor experience, count your money before you leave.

My first time visiting this branch. The store was super clean, shelves were fully stocked, aisles were wide and easy to navigate. The grocery section looked awesome. The checkout line was very long. Jessy friends the cashier, was very courteous, customer friendly and super efficient. He was smiling during the whole transaction. I will return to this store when in this area.

The highlight of this store is the cashier at the self checkout lanes. I didn't catch his name, but I've noticed him there during my visits. He's always very efficient and is knowledgeable about the store. He's doing the job of multiple traditional cashiers, since the majority are self checkout now (ugh). Anyway, he's great, and they need to compensate him for everything he covers.Going with 4 stars since more traditional lanes would be nice. Also, sometimes the music is so loud! No, I'm not 50+. But I am 40ish. Sigh.

Bad customer service. On Labor Day 2023 around 6:30 AM, I was at the self checkout buying a pack of ribs. The UPC symbol on the price sticker was slightly damaged and would not scan. I was the only customer around. The self-checkout employee Avis was no more than 8 feet away, facing my direction and leaning on the register located directly across from mine. His attention was solely on his cell phone screen as he typed on it. I was the only customer at the time and tried to get his attention 3 times, asking for help. He just kept typing and ignored me. Finally, I yelled "Hey! I'm a customer!"With this, he stopped, began to posture himself and replied angrily, "First of all, you ain't gonna yell at me!" He was very threatening. I said that I needed help. He replied, "You can go to the meat department and have them put another sticker on it".I then went back to get another slab of ribs and returned to the front of the store where Avis was already talking to the manager. When I explained what happened, the manager did not seem to care and did not listen. He kept pushing the idea that I had cursed at Avis or himself. Apparently Avis told him I did. There was no cursing except for when I told the manager that Avis was leaning his "fat @$$" on the register, playing with his phone, and ignoring my requests for help. I asked the manager if the thought that was OK. He never answered and was not at all receptive to what was being said or the fact that Avis was being aggressive toward a customer. The manager was slightly argumentative and defended Avis but finally relented saying, "I'm sorry this happened to you". While I was speaking with the manager, Avis was pacing back and forth in obvious anger. He is young, muscular, and angry. I am 70 years old and felt very threatened so I decided to leave before he exploded and attacked me as seems so common these days. It was evident by his demeanor that he was considering that. By the manager's response, it seems the Kroger company is OK with lazy and angry employees who ignore, intimidate, and create fear in the older customers.

Bought products from Kroger few days back and found today they had expired 6 months back and yet they had kept it in the shelves for selling them. Disgusting management.

The fact the store is within walking distance for those living in the area is the only positive thing I can say.From having Spectrum sales vultures inside the foyer harassing you, to groups of random teenagers and children trying to scam you for "donations to their sportsball team" as you walk in, this place is the pits.They are understaffed and honestly I feel for the employees as they're also, probably, overworked as well. So hardly any lanes are opened at any given time. Sucks they have to work for a store manager that's okay with running a dirty, sleezy, off-putting store.I don't like to be so harsh but it's ridiculous the Kroger over in west Plano is the complete opposite of this dump.
