McClelland Gun Shop has been in business since 1972. It is a great shop where the staff is very nice, friendly, kind, knowledgeable, experienced, and very helpful. They are quick to help and love sharing their passion for the sporting life. The shop offers gunsmithing services including cleaning, repair, restoration, refinishing, rebluing, and everything else under the sun. The service team does amazing, well-handled, and quick work. They sell new and used guns, with lots of used guns being a rare find. They also sell ammo, holsters, and other hunting accessories, making it a great place to go for odds and ends. Some note prices are reasonable but high, and there is a surcharge for repair estimates. The background check process is quick. Overall, customers have had the best experience, highly recommend the shop, and will only be using them for all their needs.
I've bought guns all over DFW and online. This store is the best. Good selection, gunsmithing services, knowledgeable and friendly staff, local family business, and there is a store dog. Wins on all counts.

The older gentleman named Ron was helpful, fair and direct. His excellent, straight to the point customer service and willing to work with the customer for a fair negotiation made this a 5 star experience.
