Wanted to use the code reader because I had the check engine light. when I nicely asked the lady she said “we can’t lend it out anymore because it’s really expensive, we did about a year ago” very rudely. Even though it still advertised on the window.

Received a replacement battery on 10/08/24, worked well for about two months and half. Then out of no where it was dead. Recharged it with the cables and it turn on, the next morning it was dead again. Took it to Oreilly to charge left it there for a day and they stated the battery does not charge fully it’s not a good battery. Because the warranty is out we are not able to get another battery. I am not sure if they sell refurbished batteries or what type of battery was given or if this is a common issue. The point is the battery provided was defective and did not even last three months. Will be contacting corporate and let’s not say the lack of customer service from Linda the manager here. I work late and I asked my father to go speak with the manager . Linda said she could not do nothing and all he can do his buy another battery and repay for insurance so we can get replace battery if the battery isn’t good again, I called after work to get the corporate number and was not going to speak with her as she told my father she could not help, she provided me the number and asked me if there was anything she can do, I told her no she couldn’t help me I needed to speak to corporate about the issue, I was the one with the defective battery, let’s just say after that she went on a rant!!!! she would not let me speak..! ended up having to yell over the phone. I hope those calls are recorded poor costumer service, I figured this issue was over her, but now I am definitely not dealing with this location again!

Don't even bother going to this location. Autozone is just a few minutes away and has better customer service. For one nobody acknowledged me as I walked in and then asking the women with colored hair a simple question gets u a sharp and ill-mannered response like "I'm helping a customer right now!, sorry." Yea I must have been blind because she was alone. Besides that the high prices are a turn off and few knowledgeable people at that location

This location is great. I would not recommend the Illinois and Cockrell hill location at all, I was threaten by the manager person to get off his parking lot.,just because I wanted a refund.

Pretty friendly and helpful people here. Service was a little bit slow but overall very helpful and friendly.

Really BAD customer service. Unreasonable and manipulative manager who promised to install the battery for us (included in the price), but changed her mind *after we finished paying and refused to do it! Used the excuse that it was dark, but why didn't you say so BEFORE I whipped out my credit card? Bait and switch, unethical tactics. Left us out in the cold and dark (literally, snow in February winter) to fend for ourselves. First time trying to change the battery! She didn't even bother to look at us when we left, just kept sweeping the floor to shoo us out like TRASH! If anyone from O'Reilly is reading this, please do something about this location. It's really going down.

The people are friendly. The item which i bought is a little bit high price ... don't judge my opinion.. maybe my item is different. The sales people tried hardly to get what i want... visit them and u will be satisfied

I called to get quote on 2 parts someone answered the phone was very nice gave me prices. I showed up 30 minutes later to find out the person I was talking to (same guy) Ricardo. He was very nice & very helpful. I only went to orileys because I got quoted less for the parts than autozone but now after going and the way I was treated I will defenerly be going there instead of autozone . He didn’t care if I asked a million question he was ready to answer them and gave me the best advice he thought could be my problem with my car (which he was right ) . Thank you again for all your help!
