Very shady place. I rented a storage unit for one month. When I first arrived the unit I was supposed to move into was already taken, I then had to be moved to a different one that was apparently slightly bigger and was told I would not be charged the difference for the inconvenience. I was later charged “late fees” due to being charged for the bigger unit. Once I went to move out my unit was placed on a “hold” and had an extra lock due to the “late fees” I had no idea about. I finally got my things out of here and now I was charged once again for the unit (that Iv been moved out of for 5 weeks). The did reimburse my payment but this whole establishment is extra unprofessional. The units are filthy, I couldn’t get my stuff out of there quick enough!

2 times refusing to rent me a car dolly and box truck, first time because was to cold they told me car dolly was broken, i saw like 6 dollies available in parking lot, second time they were about to close so they decided no to do the extra mile on customer service.

If you need propane you better call before driving all the way over there.. you do your part by checking the app to see if they have propane available, they do, but you get there and their response is no one is there to do it! Waste of time and gas! And you walk in and the place reeks of WEED!

The lady was very rude and didn't want to help me. I told her I wanted to rent and she told me that she didn't have anything available and outside she had a lot of what I needed. I was lazy and didn't want to work.

The truck was a death trap! The driver visor wouldn’t stay up and kept dropping down while I was driving- completely blocking vision of the road. Same with the passenger side mirror. It kept slanting down while driving so that I couldn’t see vehicles coming up along the passenger side and I almost side-swiped a car on two occasions. When I mentioned this upon return they offered NO compensation for this POS truck.

Original store had reservation for over 45 days. I was directed to a different store a day before reservation. Bill came from original store and rental came from a different store. Trailer had bad tire that blew and repair was scheduled for 60 minutes and I waited over 3 hours. Billing was messed up and it took an act of congress to get corrected.

Didn't get her name but female U haul employee was very rude and disrespectful. She was explaining to the other U haul employee that he should not honor my reservation because another U haul location transfered me there. She was complaining and upset as if I wasn't standing there. Transfered from (Camp Wisdom & Hwy67) due to power steering not working on the rental truck I was picking up.-

We were suppose to get a trailer hitch installed for a family trip. I called a few days prior and spoke with U-hauls hitch department and scheduled it for Thursday at 1:30 pm. When I arrived they had my appointment but they didn't have anyone available to do the install. The management really need to get things organized at this place. Its not that hard to update your systems to reflect actual schedules for your employees. ?♂️

If you need propane they never have any , they don't bother to put a sign at least so you don't have to wait 10 minutes for an associate.

As the other reviews stated lousy service. I went to get propane and the lady there said - let me go check and see if they are busy. It didn't appear to be busy. Didn't see any other customers around. After a few minutes she came back and said they "just" ran out of propane. There is a huge tank there but they just ran out. Apparently they were busy doing who knows what.

I have used this location more than three times so I was comfortable with walking in and being helped the way I usually do. Unfortunately after my move I did recognize that my card was charged over $180 for going only 19 miles so I was kind of confused because I have rented from him for many years and I’ve never had to pay this much and I’ve actually had a bigger truck before so it seemed weird. So I contacted the U-Haul Location on Frankfurt where I actually drop the truck off. When I called, they actually said they had no record of me returning the truck or even me having a truck in the system first of all that seem kind of weird then I had to be on hold for 30 minutes off for him to tell me all your charges are valid because you took it one way you were charged over $180 and I was like well I’ve rented from you all before and you all take $100 deposit you return that after you return the truck, so what’s the difference between this? No one could even answer my question so I asked for the number to corporate. I talked to corporate they said someone will be getting back with me within the next 24 to 72 hours. Unfortunately no one ever did so I called this morning for the guy to tell me oh it says that he tried to leave you a voicemail, but your voicemail was full, which was a lie. Then he placed me on hold for 10 more minutes, only to come back on the phone and say oh well it looks like he left you a voicemail giving you full detail of what the charges were for and the reason why you can’t get a refund and I was like you just told me he tried to leave me a voicemail. My voicemail was full, but now he left me a voicemail , so I got frustrated at the end of the day they took advantage of me and my money so I feel like it was only because I am a woman and I was alone when I went in both locations so this is the last time I will ever use U-Haul. I don’t care if I have to pay doubles to get movers I will never use them again shame on this company. Shame on the employees that they have working for them because they’re robbers .
