Have had to use this pharmacy due to insurance for last 3 years. They have never answered a phone call. Not once. We have had times where we needed to speak with a live person to figure out prescription issues that needed timely attention. Am switching to another Walgreens hoping it's just this location.

Horribly operated and managed pharmacy. You would think a Walgreens pharmacy in Lake Highlands would at least be average. I cringe each month when I have to get my refills. If you use this pharmacy, you have to stay on top of them by calling to make sure your script gets filled. The text and automated calling system does not work here.

Absolutely the worst Walgreens in all of Dallas. Very dirty store; there are dead cockroaches on floor and live ones crawling on the merchandise . The employees have a collective IQ of 12. Don't expect them to have any product you need in stock in the pharmacy. Do yourself a favor and avoid this joke of a "convenience" store.

This place is awful the lack of customer service is a joke . The times I have gone the older lady with dried out red hair with gray hair always bags my items has no character I honestly thought she didn't speak at all , bad attitude but tonight my husband and purchased some items I paid with a larger bill they didn't have change. So my husband came back they asked him for id he gave him is us passport and his id consular . It clearly had a Texas id but the staff treated my husband horrible and embarrassed him as the lady screamed at him saying USA we have never been treated with such hatred and racism in our life's . It's a shame that they have people working there that would act in such a matter. Definitely unexpected not very educated on id's not to mention we are in a world of many different people . We hope to never cross paths with such a person .. the lack of empathy for a human being , this company should be ashamed. Not one person helped the whole staff fell short .

Truly the most incompetent mess of a pharmacy I've encountered in my life. It's very frustrating because this is my neighborhood Walgreens but it's time to transfer my prescriptions elsewhere. I've had too many upsetting experiences to count, but when I needed an anti--anxiety med desperately so I could sleep after my dog died, they held it "in progress" for 48 hours. When I called about it, the tech mumbled something that made me feel like it was the first time anyone was seeing the order, and failed to apologize at all. Like, empathy goes a long way. People's medications determine health, well-being, and quality of life. And these employees (surely fine people whom the corporation has failed to adequately train or train at all, and whom they've failed by putting into place a garbage system or none at all) are playing fast and loose with meds we desperately need. Speaking of Walgreens failing their employees, these poor folks have been working the drive through with a broken mic/PA system for weeks (they've been opening the Rx drawer and talking to drive through customers through that). Walgreens couldn't get some of those Walgreens megabillions down here ASAP to better their workers' conditions?! I shudder to imagine how many white women yelled at the Black techs because they couldn't hear them through the drawer. Pharmacy work is serious and important and Walgreens Corp. treats it like a joke. Shame on Walgreens.

Searched for product online and the website said it was in stock. Drove over and they had 1 took it to the register and it rang up more expensive than on the website. I pointed this out to the cashier, Michelle, and she stated that is was only the website price. If I wanted that price I could order it online....WHAT!!! I did place an order online for instore pickup , 5 minutes later I walked out the VERY item I took to the register 5 minutes earlier for the cheaper price. Do Better Walgreens...Not good Customer Service

The pharmacy will not pick up the phone. Eventually their system forces them to, so they pick up, say something indescernible, and put you back on hold. I gave up after 15 minutes; and filled the prescription at a Walgreens 3 miles away. Routing all future prescriptions to CVS.

Made an appointment for a COVID Pfizer booster shot to supplement the Johnson & Johnson vaccine I had gotten in May. Once there, I was told that I had to wait six months until a booster shot could be taken. Having had the Johnson & Johnson vaccine I commented that it was 60 days to get a booster shot for the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. I do not believe I was listened to and my time traveling to this location was wasted. I was turned away and told to come back when it had been six months. On my way home I stopped at a CVS who took me as a walk-in and knew of the CDC formal approval of booster shots 60 days after taking the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. As this is a very important vaccine and booster, I would expect Walgreens to be more knowledgeable than I about what the CDC has approved especially when it was approved five days ago. This Walgreens location is incompetent and will not be visited again.

Mr Firmin was absolutely rude. I put my hand out for my ID and he rudely stated “you can have your ID back and won’t finish the transaction” as if he’s the only Walgreens or as if I said hurry up or as if I said anything rude. All I did was put my hand out and because of my physical gesture he verbally stated rude comments. He kept saying “you want it, you want to leave and come back” and then I stated it doesn’t take that long to read an ID your acting like I rushed you and your trying to prove a point by being petty and childish. I didn’t even want my daughter in his line after this. I told him just scan it read it and come on. I feel as if he was taunting me noticing my Mental Disability or my race might have pushed him. But rewind the cameras you see me put my hand out and not say anything and he looks at me tries to pass my ID but also state “you want ID I don’t do for you”. Type of stuff..

There are simply no words to describe the utter and complete incompetence that I encountered with this Walgreens. I had to get a covid test to travel to Hawaii--the state does not accept vaccinations from the mainland. The state has a list of "trusted" providers who can administer the test that is acceptable. I went to this Walgreens for my test and was supposed to get my results within 24 hours. The entire is long enough to be a mini-series but suffice it to say that I called the pharmacy 5 times, Walgreens corporate twice, and the PWN lab three times in an attempt to get my results. Every time entailed a long wait so I spend hours on the phone over 2 days. Every time I got a different story from each person with whom I spoke. Bottom line, I never got my results. Walgreens says they sent results and the processing lab says they did not. Walgreens says they sent me an email but I never received. The best Walgreens could do was to tell me to take another test and hope this one goes through the system. I did everything I was supposed to but I was screwed by incompetence.

The actual store is fine but the pharmacy is beyond terrible. They have been telling me for days they haven't received my doctors refill script and then magically days later they have found it. Mind you this is my second day off of an SSRI before a 3 day weekend. Never thought I'd have to go to Walmart pharmacy to get better service. Disappointed
