“I had the privilege of visiting Christ’s Church of the Assemblies of God today, and from the moment I arrived I was greeted with genuine warmth and friendliness. The atmosphere was welcoming and made me feel right at home, even as a first-time visitor. The worship music was beautiful, heartfelt, and reverent, helping me truly focus my heart on God. Pastor Bob delivered a powerful message from John 4 with passion, order, and clarity. I especially appreciated that his preaching stayed centered on the scripture itself, with minimal personal references, allowing God’s Word to take center stage. His authenticity and commitment to the truth of the Bible were very clear, and it left me encouraged and spiritually refreshed. This church has a wonderful spirit of love and reverence, and I would gladly come back again if I am ever in town.”
“I grew up driving past this church all the time and was never interested in visiting due to the size. Bigger churches can feel intimidating, chaotic and impersonal, but that is not Sagemont. Been involved here now for almost 4 years and I can say it was ridiculously easy to find the “church within the church” and quickly get connected with people who miss you when you’re not there. The Pastoral and ministry staff are also impressively dedicated to remembering names and details of visitors and members alike. All throughout the week there are socials, Bible studies, and opportunities to serve, great worship team and some kind of ministry for what seems like every walk of life.”

“My children have been participating Mother's Day Out program at Uvalde Baptist Church for 4 years. The director and staff are all amazing. They have great curriculum for children. My 4 year old finished the program reading and had 100% accuracy with being one of the top readers when he started kindergarten. I would highly recommend this program at Uvalde Baptist Church!”

“I'm especially in love with the women's Sunday school..I also loved the music ministry..The members deliver welcome gifts to new attendees at their home..I didn't know / expect this...A delivery came to me today..I'm not proud of how I acted..When two people came to my door to bring me the gifts, I thought they were soliciters..So I didn't open the door, because I was in my nightgown...I called out through the door " No thank you"...The older man kindly explained who they were and left the gifts at the door..I thanked him, but didn't engage in conversation, because I was already in my nightgown, lol..For context, I am deathly afraid of strangers knocking at my door that I'm not expecting, because something very bad happened years ago...This is a wonderful church!! If the people who brought me the gifts read this, I apologize for being a little abrupt with them..”
