“Highly recommend this church because it is a safe space no matter your status, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, past church trauma, doubts or fears! Pastor Justin's sermons are inspiring, vulnerable and freeing to accept God's radical love for us! The children's ministry is incredible, our daughter loves going to church!”
“I had the privilege of visiting Christ’s Church of the Assemblies of God today, and from the moment I arrived I was greeted with genuine warmth and friendliness. The atmosphere was welcoming and made me feel right at home, even as a first-time visitor. The worship music was beautiful, heartfelt, and reverent, helping me truly focus my heart on God. Pastor Bob delivered a powerful message from John 4 with passion, order, and clarity. I especially appreciated that his preaching stayed centered on the scripture itself, with minimal personal references, allowing God’s Word to take center stage. His authenticity and commitment to the truth of the Bible were very clear, and it left me encouraged and spiritually refreshed. This church has a wonderful spirit of love and reverence, and I would gladly come back again if I am ever in town.”
“If you have kids or no kids this place has something for everyone, come once and you will be back week after week. My kids enjoy it and so do me and my husband, they have something for all ages.”
“Thank you thank you thank you Master Cau Chin for this beautiful temple. Thank you for opening your doors to all who come with an open heart and an open mind committed to changing and improving for the better. The most beautiful peaceful place I have ever been. I am honored and blessed to be able to attend.”
“I want to extend our deepest gratitude for your compassion, guidance, and prayers during the preparation and celebration of the funeral vigil and service for our beloved father.
We are especially thankful to Deacon Bill Barnes for your steady support and coordination of the vigil and funeral service details. Your kindness and responsiveness brought us comfort in a time of sadness and stress.
Our sincere thanks also go to Acolyte Scott Morgan, who led the vigil service with care and reverence, and to Deacon Eddy Valbuena for the beautiful bilingual funeral liturgy and burial ceremony held at Klein Funeral Home – Champions and Klein Memorial Park. The way you honored our father's life and faith was deeply moving and meaningful to all of us.
We are truly grateful to be part of the Prince of Peace community and will always remember the love and support you extended to our family. We plan to attend the GriefShare support group meetings and look forward to participating in milestone Masses to continue celebrating our father’s life and legacy.”
“I went to the conference and my, my, my the presence of the Lord was there! The church choir ushered in the Holy Spirit. Pastor Ike and Pastor Dave's messages were prophetic and powerful. The church members were friendly. I loved everything about my experience.”
“We came to 九叔公 in Houston 22 years ago. He predicted many things in my life all come true . We were so luck to find his new temple and visited him today on our trip to Houston.”

“Teo Chew Temple holds a special place in my heart, particularly during the Chinese Lunar New Year celebration. Each year, millions of people gather at this sacred space for a vibrant and festive experience. The anticipation for the first ascent to the temple ferry creates an electric atmosphere, setting the stage for a memorable celebration.
The highlight of the festivities includes the captivating lion dance celebration and the display of various deities. The temple becomes a hub of cultural richness, enveloping visitors in the spirit of the Chinese New Year. It's not just a celebration; it's a profound experience that allows for moments of peace, prayer, and reflection.
Teo Chew Temple exudes comfort and solace, making it a comforting place for those seeking spiritual connection. Amidst the crowd, the temple provides a sanctuary to find inner peace and offer prayers. Witnessing the diverse array of deity displays adds a unique dimension to the spiritual journey, creating a sense of reverence and awe.
For me, visiting Teo Chew Temple is more than a religious practice; it's a reminder of the importance of respect for higher powers and the pursuit of goodness. The act of prayer and reflection in this serene setting encourages introspection and a reevaluation of life's meaning.
In essence, Teo Chew Temple is a remarkable place to pray, find comfort, and contemplate the deeper aspects of life. It stands as a beacon of tradition, spirituality, and community, making each visit a meaningful and enriching experience.”

“I was very satisfied with Trish Woodruff from Wesley UMC. She came to visit Karen and now only did she read scriptures to her, but she lived on her and prayed for her and before she left she prayed for my strength during these trying times. She was such a great representative for the church.”
“One of the most beautiful Catholic churches in a suburb I've ever visited. My friend and I visited our friend who lives nearby and we atended 8 AM Sunday Mass: priest was engaging, the liturgy was traditional, a lot of the parishioners were very reverent (many even bowing at the name of Jesus)! The music was amazing; cantor was very good and I always prefer when the organ is in use for the Mass. The campus is really beautiful, it felt like I was in an Italian town, especially being in the courtyard under the bell tower. Architecture is awesome! The stain glass was really cool, I liked how the opposite windows were red and blue, really reminding me of blood and water of the Divine Mercy. And the middle stain glass up in the dome is purple, so great use of color and do cool how the sun shines thru the window gaps between the walls. The mosaics in the center aisle also are beautiful. I got to see a glimpse of the chapel in the other side where do they do Daily Mass and it looks beautiful, too. The parish is very clean! And there is so much going on here, event and activities wise! This community has a lot to offer and so many Catholic resources! This was a great church to go to Mass at as a visitor! Would love to come back again someday!”
“When I first visit the church I knew that I was going to join, I felt the spirit of the Lord. I didn't join that day when my husband and I return the next Sunday and the doors were open to the church, I noticed my husband was in the front of the church, and I followed. Pastor Davis is a man of God; that God uses him to deliver a word to his flock. I love entering the house ? of the Lord we're God is always present.”
“All it took was one curious visit and I instantly signed up to become a Ecclesian. Little by little they're are helping to change our community for the better. This church is very nonjudmental and relaxing. Everyone is accepted here! Very kind friendly also!”
“Our Church is guided by the Holy Bible. We are one family united in our salvation thru Jesus Christ. All are welcome.
Come hear God's servants explain God's only Word in a very beautiful and revealing message”
“I grew up driving past this church all the time and was never interested in visiting due to the size. Bigger churches can feel intimidating, chaotic and impersonal, but that is not Sagemont. Been involved here now for almost 4 years and I can say it was ridiculously easy to find the “church within the church” and quickly get connected with people who miss you when you’re not there. The Pastoral and ministry staff are also impressively dedicated to remembering names and details of visitors and members alike. All throughout the week there are socials, Bible studies, and opportunities to serve, great worship team and some kind of ministry for what seems like every walk of life.”

“I found this church early one morning and have fallen in love with it's beautiful and classic sanctuary and ambitious heavenly gardens ???? God Bless ??☀️”
“People are nice, but the pastors are not helpful. I got all the job offers, and they said why you stay in America. I feel pissed. They have to understand that foreign students can be really successful without their parents.”
“Very friendly community that invites all to visit & join the family. Servic times are seven days a week through out the day. Always have community activities for all to attend & participate. Very family oriented
Very diverse (African American, Asian, Spanish, White, etc.) community. It is a mirror of what Houston looks like diverse.”
“Love my church, the pastor, and fellow members. When I joined last year I knew this was the church where I wanted to be. I was made to feel so welcomed even my first time visiting. Pastor Lott is right on point in his sermons. Lighthouse Church is a great church that doesn't play on words and you made to feel that you really belong and wanted.

“This place is peaceful, quiet, serene, and ideal for meditation and contemplation. It is a traditional Oriental style sightseeing place for tourists. The English Dharma classes on Sunday mornings serve newcomers as well as veteran scholars and meditation practitioners. They also have a nature-theme branch retreat center in Hempstead, Texas. Staff at Jade Emerald Buddha temple are polite and friendly and welcome visitors. You can find out more on their website.”
“I am truly grateful for our church community! They place a strong emphasis on the growth and development of children and babies, offering so many wonderful programs and resources tailored to their needs. From a well-stocked library to dedicated childcare services, they ensure that every child feels valued and loved. The atmosphere here is warm and welcoming—it truly feels like a family. Our church has created a nurturing environment where both parents and little ones can thrive.”
“I grew up in this church and Pastor Russell and First lady Russell are my godparents and I miss both them and the church. So anytime I'm in Houston I always try to visit.”
“I was visiting from North Texas and enjoyed mass this 4th of July weekend. I really like the smaller, personal local churches that feel more intimate with prayer and the parishioners. The audio system made it difficult to understand the priest, but he spoke from the heart with anecdotal experiences as it related to the readings. Such a refreshing moment when the priest doesn't read a prepared speech directly from the paper. I look forward to future visits as my family lives in this area.I read a comment regarding it being hot in church but they must have gotten it fixed as it felt great to celebrate Mass in such a cool and comfortable Church today.”
“This was my very 1st time visiting this beautiful church.. I don't live far from here and have driven past it 100's of times in my life.. I attended a first communion and it was very beautiful.. The atmosphere was peaceful and inviting.. The Father was very inspiring and led the mass very well.. Thank you for welcoming me into your beautiful church..”
“This is a very lovely and attractive church, entirely dedicated to Jesus and the Mother He so dearly loved. The people are warm and kind, though staff are not always easy to get on the phone. The parish is by no means wealthy: they are "poor in spirit" (Matthew 5:3-8). It is abundantly obvious that they give all glory to God through His Son Jesus, and desire to love the Virgin Mary in the way that Jesus does (Hebrews 13:8, Luke 2:51-52). If you really sit and ponder it, who can love and honor Mary more than Jesus? I've never seen a representation of Our Lady of Mount Carmel without her Beloved Son in her arms.”
“This is my church ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ . I've been attending this church for almost 15 years, and been a member since 2010. One of the best choices I could have ever made. It reminds me of my grandfather's church. Pastor Williams keep doing what you do. You inspire, uplift, and encourage me”

“One of my favorite churches in the NW Houston area. The people are friendly, the church has multiple functions a week, and the clergy are awesome. The church also has multiple stained glass windows, which I personally enjoy.”
