“Wonderful adoration chapel, so peaceful. This was the church that brought me back to the Catholic faith. I got confirmed here as an adult and the classes were amazing. I will never forget it.
My only suggestion to make this parish even better would be to install communion rails and play more sacred music, or some latin chant hymnals from our beautiful church tradition.”

Pastor Bob delivered a powerful message from John 4 with passion, order, and clarity. I especially appreciated that his preaching stayed centered on the scripture itself, with minimal personal references, allowing God’s Word to take center stage. His authenticity and commitment to the truth of the Bible were very clear, and it left me encouraged and spiritually refreshed. This church has a wonderful spirit of love and reverence, and I would gladly come back again if I am ever in town.”

“I grew up driving past this church all the time and was never interested in visiting due to the size. Bigger churches can feel intimidating, chaotic and impersonal, but that is not Sagemont. Been involved here now for almost 4 years and I can say it was ridiculously easy to find the “church within the church” and quickly get connected with people who miss you when you’re not there. The Pastoral and ministry staff are also impressively dedicated to remembering names and details of visitors and members alike. All throughout the week there are socials, Bible studies, and opportunities to serve, great worship team and some kind of ministry for what seems like every walk of life.”

The English Dharma classes on Sunday mornings serve newcomers as well as veteran scholars and meditation practitioners. They also have a nature-theme branch retreat center in Hempstead, Texas. “Love my church, the pastor, and fellow members. When I joined last year I knew this was the church where I wanted to be. I was made to feel so welcomed even my first time visiting. Pastor Lott is right on point in his sermons. Lighthouse Church is a great church that doesn't play on words and you made to feel that you really belong and wanted.

“I've been going to this church for about 2 years when I moved in the Copperfield area and I love it. The music is awesome and the sermons are always just what I need. The only negative is when participating in the Lord's Supper. It is done at the end of the service in the front corner of the worship center. Unfortunate it too loud. Music is playing, people are standing around talking and laughing which makes it very difficult hear the person who is hosting the Lord's Supper. I feel that the Lord's Supper is a very personal and sacred time and should be treated with the upmost respect. It's a time to reflect and give thanks, but it is so hard to concentrate and hear that it takes so much away from what is a very personal time. Other than that, it is a remarkable church and I highly recommend anyone of any faith give it a try.”

The audio system made it difficult to understand the priest, but he spoke from the heart with anecdotal experiences as it related to the readings. Such a refreshing moment when the priest doesn't read a prepared speech directly from the paper. I look forward to future visits as my family lives in this area.I read a comment regarding it being hot in church but they must have gotten it fixed as it felt great to celebrate Mass in such a cool and comfortable Church today.”

“This is a very lovely and attractive church, entirely dedicated to Jesus and the Mother He so dearly loved. The people are warm and kind, though staff are not always easy to get on the phone. The parish is by no means wealthy: they are "poor in spirit" (Matthew 5:3-8). It is abundantly obvious that they give all glory to God through His Son Jesus, and desire to love the Virgin Mary in the way that Jesus does (Hebrews 13:8, Luke 2:51-52). If you really sit and ponder it, who can love and honor Mary more than Jesus? I've never seen a representation of Our Lady of Mount Carmel without her Beloved Son in her arms.”

“My children have been participating Mother's Day Out program at Uvalde Baptist Church for 4 years. The director and staff are all amazing. They have great curriculum for children. My 4 year old finished the program reading and had 100% accuracy with being one of the top readers when he started kindergarten. I would highly recommend this program at Uvalde Baptist Church!”
