“Tbh I don’t know how I feel about leaving this review because Liquor Depot is a GEM and I don’t want too many ppl finding out about my store and buying up my favorite bourbons lol… but Hands up, Liquor Depot is one of my favorite places to find juices for a very reasonable price. Santos, the manager, is a great dude and can find you what you want. He’s very knowledgeable also in the industry and great at recommending good liquor.”

Test rivalries aside, Manoj has been like a brother to us, and not only has he clocked that we’re functioning alcoholics with our 7 stints in the store within 36 hours, but he’s not judged us once, and served us with a smile on his face ?? no doubt Manoj will be running an empire of liquor stores one day, hopefully this review is the push he needs to make the final step”

I had initially ordered from twin liquors and never had a problem but this time my experience was awful and the associate I spoke with was horrible trying to order a bottle of liquor for my son but South Lamar wine & spirits really came through for my order and went out of there way to deliver my order. “I wandered in today looking for a specific liquor that the distillery's website said was stocked here. I was greeted warmly when I walked in and asked about the thing. The computer said there was one in stock, so the guy went looking in the back and asked the manager for me. No luck. Then I went brain dead on the brand of rum I wanted, but he helped me figure it out quickly. I then wanted to just look around, and in that time, heard everyone else getting the same awesome service. A second person came back from lunch and was immediately tuned in and helpful as well. Absolutely amazing place with a great selection.”

“We tried this place out while on vacation, and have to say this is definitely a must check out spot. Everyone was friendly, the kids loved the basketball, bike, and play set. The live DJ did an amazing job with music selection and great vibes. The fried catfish was very delicious. Some of the best catfish we’ve had in forever.”

“PARTY BARN SAVED MY PARTY!!! This is not an understatement. After Spec's failed to fulfill my keg of Meanwhile beer, not once, BUT TWICE (on two different occasions), someone directed me to Party Barn. Joshua, the manager, was incredibly sympathetic and went out of his way, above and beyond to make sure we had our favorite beer for our crawfish boil!! This is some of the best customer service I've received in a long time, and I will only be ordering my kegs from Party Barn from now on!!!! Joshua is THE BEST!!!”

“I'm from Baytown so my favorite liquor store there was Specs. I've lived in Austin for the past year and I decided to seek one out for their 10% off case specials after just buying from small shops. When I pulled in, I seen the sign was old and then I seen a security guard and thought shit I'm in the ghetto. But I couldn't find what I wanted, so I grabbed a bottle, then went to use a restroom and when I went by the vodka section again, there was a worker stocking so I asked about the case deal and he went and got me one on the back and he told me that the plastic bottles of vodka are behind the counter because they tend to "travel" if left on the shelf. So after I paid, I'm in a wheelchair so the clerk asked me if I would like carry out assistance. Some she paged someone but the security guard was walking by and he offered to carry it for me. It was good to see friendly service, you go to so many businesses and employees only want to do what's in their job description. It was nice to get excellent service and the low prices I expect from Specs so from now on, they will be my go to liquor store again.”

Dallas for the parking Austin cause of Ricky. Update: had another load. My info said today at 0600. Ricky said I wasn't on the list and asked if I'm in a hurry. I responded yes gotta be gavensten in 5 hrs to pu some shrimp. He stopped his other work and got my 6 pallets off on 5 minutes. This guy is absolutely amazing.”

The store is huge, always fully stocked, and incredibly easy to navigate. Jenna was phenomenally helpful when we needed to sort out a bulk wedding order – communicative, patient, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The seasonal sales are fantastic too – just make sure you get there on the first day before the deals sell out! Highly recommend this location!”
