I opened my BB&T account after graduating college in 2018 and have always been in good standing with them until they were bought by Truist. Ever since there’s been nothing but issues and inconveniences. Yesterday, Monday 11/14/2022 I had a few hundred dollars of change to deposit and chose this branch because it’s closest to me now. I’ve done this every year since I could work and never had any issues at my BANK. The teller before I could get any words out tells me they don’t have a change counter and that the Tom Thumb across the street might have one (which charges 11%). I stated so everyone could hear that, “you mean my own BANK won’t take my money?” And she said no sir. Absolutely I can understand them not wanting to count an obscene amount of change but it’s a bank that I have an account at? At least give me a somewhat decent option or inform me of a branch that does. This will be my last week banking with them. Good luck.

I’ve just opened up a account… long story short I opened the account online but it wouldn’t take my cash app card.. so I came into this location and uploaded the money “$100”, side note the young heavyset black lady that works in there has taken me every single time and idk what it is, I have not came in there with a attitude and i have smiled because I know how customers service work is but every single time it’s like I’m on her nerves for even coming in there. So I’m thinking with the new account I opened I’m gonna get my debit card in the mail and she told me “out her mouth” that it takes 7-10 Business days and it has been well over. I called the customer service number because this location was closed for the day and come to find out the lady on the phone told me that no card has been ordered at all so I’m wondering why she would tell me that and didn’t bother to order the card when I deposited the money in the account. Then prior to this situation I went in because I needed my money and she had a attitude because I wanted to make the withdrawal. If this is what it’s about to be like banking with Truist I’ll pass and close the account and find somewhere else to deposit my money.. if I could give this zero stars I would!

My husband never goes to this one, but had to since we were on a time crunch before they closed. We had business to take care of and the teller we had was rude. Not going there again.

Poor management, playing the after hours message during business hours so they don't have to answer the phones. Teller is basically a McDonald's employee who could care less. She is the person you are giving your deposit to. Which is horrifying! Expect a 3-9 day hold on your money. Wont tell you that until after the deposit. Hope you don't need that money anytime soon. This is the Bad Walmart of banks! Btw, if you are a business they place holds on cashiers checks! I'll let that sink in while I close this clown show account.
