Yesterday I clipped the Blue Bell digital coupon for the pint. When I got to the car and checked my receipt, I noticed I was charged regular price. (I can’t afford 4.50 for a pint).It was warm in the car so I put the ice cream in my bag and went back inside to CS. There was a guy in front of me who got 4 money orders, but I waited.Before when this has happened that I wasn’t given the coupon off, they’ve just scanned my receipt and given me back my $. Yesterday she wanted the ice cream to scan.Knowing pints melt fast, I left. I was with someone else who needed to get home and I had ridden with her.(Yes, I bought the one advertised with a gold rim.)It’s frustrating that different employees ask for different things when a refund is due.To make things more frustrating, my friend needs a cart to ride in and this store only has one which works. That is ridiculous for a store like Tom Thumb. At the prices they charge, they surely can afford more carts. The 2nd one is always broken.I recommend going to TT in Desoto. A much better operated store, better service, cleaner and better stocked products.Duncanville store needs better management. Very frustrated with Customer Service.

Beware of expired food dates at this Tom Thumb location in Duncanville, TX off of Cedar Ridge. We had repeatedly bought food from this location with expired dates from as far as 2020 but as common as 2022. Expired food should be taken off the shelf at least 3 months after its expiration date but 2 years is asking for a negligence liability suit. Food poisoning is real and Tom Thumb is not to concern with their neighborhoods health buy keeping this food on the shelf for consumption. Check your expiration dates when shopping at this location. I will be contacting the health inspector if this practice continues.

My wife has been shopping at this store for years, a very faithful shopper. But on July 19 23 she bought 1.5 lbs of 93/7 hamburger meat and made hamburger patties covered with gravy. I started eating mine and it didn't taste right, and I gave it to the dogs, she eat hers and had food poisoning for a week.After contacting their liability claims department, they sent her an Acknowledgement but now want answer the phone number list on it.Now she is very apprehensive about eating any ground meat.Needless to say, we've started shopping at Walmart.

Upset Im having to write this review. So let me just start off by saying I've lived in Duncanville all of my life and this location has always been our go to store rather it was grocery shopping, grabbing Starbucks, or just to get something quick. I go about 2x a week sometimes 3 and I'm just so disappointed in the way the direction the store is heading. Not sure if it's just the people they're hiring or what. So just last week I've had not only one but two problems. First off my mother and I were in the produce section and we had a question so we politely asked an employee she looked at us shook her head 'no' and kept walking ignoring us. I was of course taken back she was so rude for no reason. we had another problem another day but in the same week. We went to Tom Thumb to buy some items to make dinner that night and also to deposit money at the Wells Fargo atm thats located inside. We went around 8 I believe the first thing we did was walk to the atm so I guess they have a security at night now? Well while we were standing there tell me why he was just staring at us like not breaking contact , he then walked to the red box ( right beside the atm machine) acted like he was looking at the movies swinging left and right but I could obviously tell he was staring right at us. It was weird like if he were down grading us. Was it because were Mexican? Or because the way we looked or dressed? Not sure but as soon as we begin finishing up and were about to began walking off he quickly walked off before us. I just can't wrap my head around that one. What were we doing to do to the ATM that he thought he needed to watch us up close. It was weird I felt uncomfortable but most of all I feel DOWNGRADED. And it's not a good feeling. Completely broke my heart when my mother said "I think it's time we find another grocery store."

Once again, this store has every single curbside spot and handicap spot filled with non handicap and non curbside customers. Just rude overly entitled shoppers.Fix this. If you want to offer curbside, you, the store, are responsible for ensuring that the spots aren't filled with inconsiderate selfish fools. As for the handicap spots being always filled with non handicap people, you should be ashamed to constantly allow that.It's clear the store manager cares nothing for providing the services the store is supposed to offer. Maybe corporate should intervene?

Staff is always willing to help. The store is always clean, unlike the other grocery store in town. Excellent selection.

"I'm sorry you had to wait so long"..... That phrase could go a long Way..... We waited yesterday in line for about 7 minutes. I know that's not long but it is when you're waiting. The person in front of us had a very small order but he had an issue with his debit card.No fault to the person working at Starbucks...but it would of been nice to hear after she. Finished with him.... But then to top the situation off. They didn't even have the two drinks that we wanted that really upset us..... I'm aware that's first world problems but still you go somewhere to get something and then get treated as if you weren't even there or barely matter...... Not the first time by the way
