Books are Gems is a fantastic establishment and a wonderful treasure that has been open for many years. It is a great place for readers of all ages, highly recommended for those with children. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, super nice, very very helpful, and polite. They explain the process and help kiddos find books. This cozy, clean, and quiet place offers so much for everyone. It is a wonderful way to promote the importance of reading. There are a lot of resources for homeschoolers, and teachers can look for supplies and books for their classroom. Kids have plenty of books to choose from. There is a huge selection of nonfiction and fiction books available for sale at a reasonable price, with no title over $1. There is also a place for parents to buy books and movies. Many people donate their read books, and others can take home and enjoy them. It is a fantastic establishment well worth a visit.

We loved this place while living in El Paso. If you homeschool then you have a lot of resources to choose from and the kids have plenty books to choose from. Stop by and check this place out.
