Do Not go to them for an auto loan or credit card. It you ever encounter a issue they could care less about you. This credit union is absolutely horrible to people. They are amazing when your a service member and once they got you they could care less about you or your family or any issues you encounter and they will absolutely try and take your vehicle to use as collateral on any other services you have with them without a thought.

This bank loved to steal money anyway they can. They have a fraudulent way of doing it also. Some charges disappeared and an access amount of money reappeared. A couple days later that charge reappeared and my account was in the negative. I did not dispute the charge, my error was thinking GECU would hold accountability for their mistake. Not place blame on me for their sketchy app.

Have had GECU for about 7 years so really disappointed to write this review. They have been useless in stopping a recurring fraudulent charge on my card for months now. I have been told nobody knows how to stop it and sending me on a goose chase to other people who are useless. Every month, I need to open a new fraud case just to get my money back but nobody can figure out how to stop it. Very very frustrating experience so I will be closing my accounts with GECU since they are unable to protect their customers from fraud.

This bank is a JOKE you're better off taking your money elsewhere. It takes an hour to answer the phone, only to hear that their app is down and they can't assist you. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. I can't believe I wasted an hour on the phone for nothing. I would give it 0 stars if I could.STAY AWAY FROM HERE.

Never understood the process of waiting 20+ minutes in line to speak to a virtual “teller” just to get to the screen and wait another 5+ minutes until they answer. Very redundant.

Its a good bank overall, but be careful at the atm. If you take more than like a minute or so to get your bills ready to insert itll straight up shred your card as a “security” feature.

I went to deposit all my ones from work because that’s how the girls pay me and they say I have to deposit $30 at a time. I had over $1000 in ones!! This is what you call a bank??! Then the machine gets stuck for every little wrinkle in a bill!! Huge inconvenience. I refuse to believe this is the best you can offer! The ladies in the front literally are just standing there. They can’t even change your ones or help all they can do is redirect you where you need to go. Amazing! They dont have an actual bank teller in person. Then they lie abt your deposit coming out as $1000 but instead I have a million deposits if $30. GECU do better!!
