“Danica and Ebony and Connie are ALL STARS! I asked for help with something specific for new yarn and they each went above and beyond to help, I’m so grateful! Thank you”
“I started crocheting only about a month ago, and On the Lamb quickly became one of my favorite places to learn and feel comfortable as a beginner. Their Thursday crochet get-together is such an amazing experience. From the moment I walked in, everyone was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and supportive.
What really stood out to me was how willing everyone was to help. I was working on a personal project — crocheting a version of my friend’s cat — and even though I was still learning, people were happy to answer questions, give suggestions, and encourage me along the way. No one made me feel out of place or inexperienced; instead, it felt like a genuine community of people who love crochet and want others to enjoy it too.
The atmosphere is relaxed, positive, and inspiring. It’s the kind of place where you can sit down, work on your project, learn something new, and leave feeling motivated and confident.
If you’re looking for a local yarn shop with a strong sense of community, I highly recommend On the Lamb in Grapevine, especially their Thursday crochet get-togethers. It’s a wonderful space for beginners and experienced crocheters alike.”
“My faith is restored luckily at this hobby lobby. Nicole and Cindy know what they are doing and super professional and Helpful. Was very friendly and got my issue caused by the other hobby lobby with no issue. Definitely like this location the best.”
“Shawn and Co have been holding it down for years after taking over from big poppa bear Scott. Its been my go to since I was in the 6th grade and im 40 now lol honest people , huge selection and a cool place.”
“I had never visited a Hobby Lobby before, and what an interesting place! They have just about everything for hobby enthusiasts—from coin flips and specialty tools to balsa wood, collectibles, and memorabilia. It's a fun store to explore, with a huge selection and something for almost every hobby. Highly recommended!”
“I have been going here for a while now and they are always super friendly, constantly have new inventory, and always carry the newest sets of many different TCG. Whether you're looking for sports cards, or pokemon they are very likely to have what you want. Prices are on point and affordable on all of their products.
One of the best shops in DFW!!”
“Avery is the best rc enthusiast/shop owner I've ever met. Like seriously nice guy. My kid was smiling like he is now when we went to the shop and my nephew has joined in. 9 hours in one day. Didn't even ask for a break or their Nintendos none of it. Trainville is where it's at for them. Fully recommend this to enhance your kids imagination over their tablets and such. Time to clean out the shed for a dedicated train room. Avery thank you so much again for your help with the axle repair and see you soon! Gonna need a lot of street lamps!”
“I simply adore this store, just like other Hobby Lobby locations, it’s a crafter’s paradise. There’s so much to choose from, whether you’re into sewing, home décor, seasonal decorations, painting, or DIY projects. I can easily spend hours browsing all the aisles and still feel like you haven’t seen everything.
The store is well stocked and organized, making it easy to find what you need (and a few extra things you didn’t plan on buying). There’s also plenty of free parking.
The staff here are always super nice and helpful, which really adds to the overall positive vibe of the store.
One important thing to keep in mind: they do not accept contactless/tap-to-pay payments. In this day and age, that’s definitely something to be aware of before heading to checkout.”
“I was looking at creating a balloon bouquet and a staff member was so helpful in explaining pricing and amount of balloons. It was fun picking them out and planning what I wanted for my daughters 1st birthday. 4 stars because an item I purchased was broken, still functional but frustrating.”

“A great place to find all sorts of little hobby things like RC cars, model kits, and other hobby oriented toys. The prices here are amazing as well for what you're getting as well as a rewards program for returning customers.”
“Michaels is the devil lol I went in there for two frames from some prints I purchased from a photographer. I couldn't find frames so I grabbed two mats instead. Walked out with 3 bags of goodies. They had a 50% all Valentine's Day collection and I definitely took advantage. Earned a $5 voucher as well. No one greeted me when I entered the store but it's cool because I was on a mission. The cashier seemed a bit annoyed by my questions during checkout but still a decent experience. Store was clean and organized plus I appreciated that they were open until 8 that night.”
“As a holiday decor fan, I found this place to be stunning ?
The store is medium-sized with a large portion dedicated to halloween and Christmas villages. Their staging is amazing and truly inspiring. If you are in the area and enjoy holiday decor, this is a MUST visit.”
“I've been very happy with the beautiful quality of their framing. The staff have always been helpful and friendly. They are careful to use acid free framing materials. I recommend their Master acrylic to protect artwork.”
“I have been all over DFW looking for a shop and I can call “my local card shop” and I have finally found it. There’s a TON of signed memorabilia for all teams, even if the selection is of course Cowboys/Dallas focused. From wall decor, mini helmets, balls, jerseys, you name it they have it. There’s a wide selection of football, basketball, baseball, wrestling (WWE/some AEW), and some Pokémon. They have a wide selection of sealed product, graded slabs, raw cards when it comes to sports. Both new age cards and older cards.
Personally my experience was fantastic. I was greeted very nicely by the man who works the register in the front, and the nice lady who helped me pick out a NFL blaster. In the back, I was helped once again when looking for some WWE stuff! Once I mentioned wrestling, the younger man working in the store had a full conversation with me about CM Punk’s return and it just created a very welcoming atmosphere. Most places here in DFW make you feel like you’re stealing from them when you ask for something, or don’t wanna give you any deals whatsoever. Upon purchasing my NFL blaster, the lady didn’t charge me for my wrestlers and told me they were on the house. Was it only three dollars worth of cards? Yes. But it was more so the kind gesture I appreciated. This is THE sports card store in the DFW area.
I will be back here again and again, with my friends next time.”
“Very clean and quiet. The stamp based stuff is pretty much non-existent, lots of empty pegs and slots. Been that way for awhile. But rest of craft supply stock was good. Cute seasonal as always.”
“Not sure why Michael’s company is not looking into finding a bigger store. This store is so cluttered, a mess and it’s not handicapped accessible. Pretty sure in the back of the store goes against fire code. Come on Michaels company do better! Get them a bigger store”
“Curtis was an amazing manager! He was so helpful and friendly. I will definitely go to Grand Prairie even though I have one in Cedar Hill. The store is bigger in Grans Prairie and the staff are more friendly.”
“If you like old school vibes this the guy for you, owner is not rude at all owner gives boomer vibes reminds me of the good old days! This store in not for the new generation where everything hurts your feeling. Best deals all in Arlington but also fair to himself. Amazing collection gives a true collector vibes understands his value and ain’t afraid to tell someone the value of theirs straight up. Also understands he has so much inventory that he can’t buy everything has to make a buck also for overhead. Will be definitely visiting again.”
“New concept store in Irving. It...is...AWESOME! You can play around with some products and the have a ginormous fabric selection - some special order.
There is a party area and the Halloween array is off the hook.”
“I most definitely recommend this company. When we put up a 25 foot flag in our yard. “We didn’t know what we didn’t know” about wear and tear on ropes, flags, lights, and so forth. And of all the companies we contacted they were the only ones that acted concerned about our little non retail flag issue. They fixed it and pleasant to work with. They will be my only call next time I need any flag maintenance.”

“Wow - customer service was excellent! Things were pretty busy, Saturday Dec
6 at the Broadway Street, Madison,Wi, Michaels. There was a gentleman happily doing his job - running to the back to get my tree, helping his cashier, and answering questions from customers. Not sure if he was the manager or not, but he far exceeded my expectations. Pleasant, helpful and demonstrating the Holiday Spirit!”

“Outstanding selection of games as usual. But what set this location apart is how big it was and the space to host games. Be it a TTRPG or Pokémon. Also, if your a veteran ask for the Veterans discount.”
