“Very large selection for any need or want you could have! Ladies that were working were very sweet, attentive to customers that wanted assistance and left others alone when they didn't want help to shop. Very nice place! I'll definitely be back sometime!”

“A medium size store in terms of Half Price Book stores. Not a large quantity of manga which is what I'm usually on the hunt for. People are nice and helpful.”

“I can’t even begin to explain how disappointed I am that this bookstore has to close. I’m not sure if this is coming from Deseret books or where it’s coming from but this was and is a huge blow to the Dallas Fort Worth area.”

“Great vibes and an awesome selection for its size. Staff is helpful and they will help you find what you need or even order it, if they do not have it. 10% discount for teachers. 😁”

“Overall I like this store but not as much as I used to. They have covered all the front windows with posters and most of the front is now dedicated to blind boxes. They cut back on stationary offerings and it now feels a little more junky. Great collection of manga overall and I love the various journals and other paper and stationary goods.”

“I had a great experience at Half Price Books thanks to Todd. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind throughout the entire process. He took the time to answer my questions and made everything smooth and easy.

Customer service like this really makes a difference. I truly appreciate his professionalism and positive attitude. I’ll definitely be coming back — and I hope Todd is there!

Highly recommend asking for him if you visit!”

“I bought a violin from cadenza in high school it was over 10k and the instrument is still in good condition. You can trust they will take care of your instruments. Please DO NOT go to (violins and pianos) or (Klein violin shop) the owner is rude and will NOT help you. He’s greedy. This owner in cadenza is kind and Rex is always nice to us and truthful to their customers”

“Ms. Veronica is an amazing professor in the esthetician program. While the program requires a lot of work and organization, she truly cares about her students and their success. She does a great job managing a class with different generations and cultures, making everyone feel supported and included. Her patience, professionalism, and dedication make her a great educator. I’m very grateful to be learning from her!”

“It wasn't a bad experience, but they were training a new hire and there was a lot of confusion. Everyone was polite and nice, but it did take longer than needed. Over all, I got what I needed.”

“Spectacular...again. The Gift of Christmas show is one to attend this season. If you came last year or in the past come again as they have done a major production make over for the good. Act I is the secular portions with new outstanding singing, choreography, costumes, props etc. The church choir is in the background for Act I and into Act II. Lots of use of lights, lasers, and fireworks. It is quite the show. There must be over 1,000 in cast and many more in the crew and volunteers helping parties get to their seats. Act II celebrates the birth of Jesus with a number of traditional hymns and images/video. There is a special show scheduled for those with special needs or visual concerns. Contact church for details. A few points to reduce hassle arriving etc. I recommend enter from north off of Plano Parkway. See photo. Most try to enter via Park Blvd and hit backup delay getting into parking lot. Plenty of parking on north side of church. Try to get 3d floor seats as much better view of production. Audio is plenty loud (I wore ear plugs to cut down noise). If you get 3d or 2d floor seats consider skipping elevators as the lines are long just before show. This is a two hr show with no intermission so hit the restroom before or take a break between Acts I & II (they are showing a video which one can skip).”

“A coffee cafe inside of a church, who would’ve known that combination works like the unleavened bread and the wine Jesus offered. Well it does work and well worth coming to see for yourself. The cafe offers really good tasting food items as well, such as pastries, breakfast sandwiches, and paninis. The atmosphere is friendly and calming.”

“great service here in this charming little bookstore within the Dallas Love Field airport. (the cashier had some troubles ringing up my purchase but I was on a lengthy layover so time was not of the essence for me)I was surprised at the great selection of hardcover new releases and classics along with some independent non-fiction and trending paperbacks. There is also a small stationery section for us paper & pen lovers. Lamy pens and moleskin notebooks and other odds and ends for journaling at a nice value with something at every price point. a kids section, a religious section (which was inclusive of all religions, even just general spirituality) and a novelty section at the register wrapped this store up nicely and put a bow on top! a gift for all book lovers! be sure to stop in!”
