“SUCH a cute spot with a diverse author and great drinks (creamsicle matcha?? Yes please)! Book selection was narrow but the nonfiction available was pretty good. I like seeing authors i haven't heard of in shelves!”
“I visited for a friend’s get together and ended up purchasing a Animorphs collectible tin set. ( a book series from my childhood hood). After getting home, I realized that it was damaged when I purchased it. I called them up a few weeks later as I am a teacher and live far and explained the situation. After sharing a few pictures, they were kind enough to order me another book set identical to the one I had. It came in a week later. I am very pleased and will be ordering more for myself and my son in the future.
Thank you, Whose Whose for such excellent customer service!”

“My husband and I always seek out bookstores wherever we travel and buy a book. This bookstore was a great surprise. Very unique and great selection. The person working the store was so helpful and kind.”
“Stopped by on a whim while driving through Dallas and I loved this store! So many colorful covers, wide selection to choose from, and plenty of amazing staff recommendations. I was so excited to grab a couple books I hadn’t seen before!”
“This is one of the best Barnes & Nobles around. Everyone is so nice and helpful. Michelle and Victoria helped me pick some new books and I'm so excited! I love getting recommendations and the employees here are really knowledgeable. Can't wait to come back!”
“The cutest store with a great selection of books! They also have other cute things like bookmarks, stickers, keychains, bags, etc! Highly recommend supporting them! I always leave with a bad of goodies!”
“I can’t even begin to explain how disappointed I am that this bookstore has to close. I’m not sure if this is coming from Deseret books or where it’s coming from but this was and is a huge blow to the Dallas Fort Worth area.”
“Great vibes and an awesome selection for its size. Staff is helpful and they will help you find what you need or even order it, if they do not have it. 10% discount for teachers. 😁”
“Ssshhhh it's a library or the closest thing to a library ..do they even have those anymore? They have good books broad selection. You'll find something of interest I'm sure of it.”
“Very nice place always love being there.
Consistently excellent. The store is clean, well organized, and well stocked, and the staff are friendly, helpful, and professional.”
“The Book Doctor did an absolutely incredible job rebinding and replacing the cover on my very worn Bible. The customer service was excellent, and they were easy to work with. I had put off getting my Bible repaired for years because I was so reluctant to turn it over to anyone as it is very special to me. After my initial consultation with the Book Doctor, I knew my Bible would be in good hands and completely trusted them to take good care of it. It was completed in the timeframe I was initially quoted, and turned out beautifully. The work is very high quality, and I am so grateful to once again be able to use my Bible without the fear of it falling apart. I highly recommend the Book Doctor and would use them again in the future!”

“When you come across someone who truly goes the extra mile, it stands out—and Monica at Froggy Toys 5 & 10 is exactly that kind of person. She has a remarkable way of making my twin girls feel seen, valued, and genuinely special every single time we visit.
It’s not just great customer service—it’s intentional kindness, and it creates an experience that keeps us coming back. If every business had a Monica, the bar for service would be on a completely different level.
Thank you, Froggy Toys—you’ve built something really special.”

“This bookstore is always a reliable go-to for Catholic products. A great selection of books, new and used, a variety of prayer cards and medals, jewelry, and crucifixes. I was overjoyed that they also sold rosary crucifixes and centers. A few years ago they had water damage and were closed, but they still allowed me to buy a gift for a friend’s wedding. The employees are always very helpful in aiding what you’re searching for.”
“I have done a bulk order for my unique gift shop and my customers love the quality of the books. Fast delivery and excellent communication through out will buy again.”
“The store was well stocked and the customer service was super friendly. Love visiting DBU when I get the chance. They are a model campus for all other Universities.”
“Excellent curation. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. It's an inviting place and wonderful to have a local gallery in Dallas that specializes in photography.”
“The store manager, Rene Smith, was very helpful and made sure I fully understood the issue. She also ensured that it was resolved promptly. Amazing customer service!”
“I've been collecting Taschen books for years, but stumbled onto this spot by accident after checking out the Giant Eyeball. Had no idea the Joule had a Taschen library – sometimes the best finds happen when you're not even looking.
This place hits different. Clean, thoughtful setup that feels more like an art gallery than a typical bookstore. As someone who appreciates good design, I was immediately impressed by how everything's curated – the lighting, the displays, all of it just works.
Ended up nerding out for 30 minutes, flipping through titles I'd never seen. Samantha, the Retail Manager, was cool as hell and actually encouraged me to take my time and explore. No rushing, just genuine enthusiasm for what they're offering.
Obviously had to buy something before my flight. My only regret is not having more time because I could've spent hours in there. This spot alone has me planning another Dallas trip, and that's saying something coming from Brooklyn.
If you're into art, books, or just spaces put together with intention, check this out. Worth the trip – even if you find it by accident like I did.”
“great service here in this charming little bookstore within the Dallas Love Field airport. (the cashier had some troubles ringing up my purchase but I was on a lengthy layover so time was not of the essence for me)I was surprised at the great selection of hardcover new releases and classics along with some independent non-fiction and trending paperbacks. There is also a small stationery section for us paper & pen lovers. Lamy pens and moleskin notebooks and other odds and ends for journaling at a nice value with something at every price point. a kids section, a religious section (which was inclusive of all religions, even just general spirituality) and a novelty section at the register wrapped this store up nicely and put a bow on top! a gift for all book lovers! be sure to stop in!”
“I received my bachelors degree from UNT Dallas. It is a small school but is growing steadily. The school is very affordable, conveniently located, and has the lowest student debt upon graduation in the country. The limited class schedule can present some difficulties, but that is an issue at any small school. I would recommend attending this school.”
“Amazing bookstore. Very quiet (aside from one kid yelling out periodically) and relaxing, just like a bookstore should be. They had my Phil Steele college football book. The sales people were friendly.”
“we bought sweaters Nextdoor and they did not have my friends size. We were walking past and they had them but we weren’t sure if we could swap it. Not only did Brittany help us, she was soooo friendly and sweet! Thank you, you made my friends trip before we even got to baggage claim!”
“📚💕 I love love LOVE this store. This is my fav half priced books. Highly recommend. They have movies, books of all kinds, stationary, journals, children’s area, lots of other odd items. Lots of first edition signed copies. 🤩”
