“Oftentimes shopping at most brick & mortar businesses, one is typically left to aimlessly locate items with no one in sight to assist or provide information. I am pleased to share that was not an issue each time I stepped into the showroom at Weir’s on Spring Valley in Dallas, Texas. Each time I visited, I was respectfully greeted by a very kind sales consultant whose name is Jo Ann Edwards. Her positive energy was vibrating across our paths! She was patient, attentively listening, and shared a vast amount of valuable insight. When I shared a picture of my table, as I pondered about the dining chairs in the showroom that she pointed out to me, she validated my selection with a very genuinely supportive response! I am 1,000,000 % satisfied with my shopping experiences at Weir’s because she made feel like a MVP (Most Valuable Purchasing Client)!!!!”

“We purchased our second dining room table from Weir’s last month. We bought our first one from them over 50 years ago. Our son and his family wanted it for their home. Weir’s is wonderful for quality and price. Gabriela Hilger was most helpful to us with our new purchase and getting it delivered to us since we live 100 miles out of town.”

“i went in knowing i needed to replace my adjustable mattress and frame and asked the sales rep to help me with that. he was very nice and helpful but i lost count of the number of times he said ‘as we get older’ in his sales pitch. i realize i am 52 but good gravy marie, no one - and most especially a woman in the south - wants to be told that they are old. but i have a great bed coming to me in two days and that is what makes me happy!”

“Even though they do not necessarily carry my style of furniture, they have some suitable options. They are going out of business! So please support local businesses. I believe this is a family owned store, and I hate to see them closing their doors. The building will just get junkier and junkier, not what the South Side of Irving needs. Salesman was friendly.”

5400 E Mockingbird Ln #101, Dallas TX 75206
“I visited the E. Mockingbird Store yesterday, Dec. 4th, 2025, where my sister and I met with George. George’s expertise and manner were better than knowledgable: he really listened to my sleep problems, as he demonstrated the adjustable bed, gauging the demo to its ability to meet what I need, including help with an elevated head for better breathing and a persistent back problem. Then we tried out mattresses, finding what I hope will be the most comfortable one for me. I ordered on the spot, and he arranged delivery and set it up to meet my needs. I hope the products I ordered will match George’s excellence as a salesperson. I won't know that until I have it in my home, but I’m confident that if the mattress doesn’t work for me, George will help find a solution.”

“Mattress buying is an incredibly overwhelming process these days. After weeks of online research, I finally gave up and went into the store hoping for expert help and that's exactly what I got. Johnny was incredible. So patient and knowledgeable. He listened to my needs and answered all my questions, initially showing me exactly what I asked for. As we talked and explored options, we landed on something I hadn't initially considered. The trust and comfort levels he fostered helped me find the best possible match and I'm so excited. I'm also very confident that, no matter what. I'll be happy with my purchase, thanks to Mattress Firm's trial period. The whole experience was lovely and took a lot of the sting out of making such a big, important purchase.”
