“More than happy with our experience. Was able to find exactly what we wanted. Name brand. And better price than sold at other furniture stores for the same piece of furniture. I would definitely purchase from this store again. James took care of my purchase. He was very professional and straightforward. If you call ahead and just stay in contact with them they follow through with what they say. We changed our pickup time because we wanted to get it done earlier in the morning. James met us up there an hour before the store was supposed to open and helped me load my couches into the truck. Even had a little cardboard laying around to help put between the couch and the side of the truck to help protect the couch. Great guy. Great place.”

“This review is based on the exceptional customer service provided by Craig Hammond at the Plano location of Relax the Back. I ordered a Travel Lite seat cushion over the phone to be delivered to my daughter who lives in Chicago. Craig took all the information he needed, but it was what he did after he got the information that was so impressive. The cushion was a birthday present for my daughter. I asked Craig if he could just put a note with the cushion so our daughter would know it was from “Mommy and Daddy with our love.” So, he took it upon himself to go to CVS to get a small card that he had his mother write and sign for us (he said her handwriting was better!). He timed the delivery of the package with UPS to make sure it would arrive as close to her birthday as possible but not a day later than her birthday. He kept me informed every step of the process! He sent me a picture of the UPS mailing label and the tracking number! My daughter got the gift a couple of days before her birthday and called us immediately to thank us asking only one question, “Whose handwriting is this on the enclosed card?” She enjoyed the story of how thoughtful Craig was to take care of literally every detail to make sure everything was perfect for her birthday. Thank you, Craig for your efficiency AND your thoughtfulness! Over and above service for sure!!”

“I originally intended to leave a review after purchasing my Tempur-Pedic LuxeAdapt Soft mattress, as my experience at that time was very positive. The team was kind, professional, and worked with me to secure a great deal.
However, after some time, my husband felt that mattress was too soft, so I returned and purchased a Purple Cool Touch Premier Soft mattress. At the time of purchase, I was aware there was a small rip in the mattress, and the price was adjusted accordingly.
As many people know, it can take time to properly adjust to a new mattress, so I gave it a fair trial period. Unfortunately, this mattress has not worked well for me. I also discovered that it appears shorter than a standard queen once placed on my Tempur-Pedic adjustable base. While that alone wasn’t my primary concern, my overall experience has been physically problematic.
Due to my medical condition, which includes a muscle disorder and heart-related flare-ups, proper support is critical. Since using this mattress, I have experienced multiple flare-ups, including one that required hospitalization. At this point, I am unable to sleep on the mattress and am currently sleeping on my sofa.
I want to be clear that my previous experiences with this company were positive. The team has been professional, transparent, and accommodating in the past. For that reason, I am giving them the opportunity to address this situation before adjusting my rating further. I have already reached out and am currently awaiting a response.
I also came across other reviews raising concerns about authenticity. I cannot speak to those claims; however, in my personal experience, the company has been upfront about product conditions and professional in their interactions.
My rating reflects the current outcome of my second purchase—not the customer service I previously received. Given my history with this company, I do expect a good-faith effort to resolve this matter appropriately.
I would still recommend this company based on my experiences; however, I strongly encourage customers to do thorough, detailed research and ensure the mattress they choose truly fits their needs. Even with in-store testing and prior research, a few minutes of trying a mattress does not always reflect how it will perform over time. If possible, I would also recommend confirming trial or exchange options in advance to ensure there is flexibility if the mattress does not work out long-term.
I will be updating this review based on how this situation is handled.”
