“Great place to stop. Stayed the night. Nobody bothered us. The supplies I bought were decently priced and except for the trains in the night, it was quiet. Thanks so much!”
“I enjoy putting gum and chewing tobacco in the urinals every time I have to go in to get a receipt because nobody ever fills the gas pumps up with receipt paper and my work requires me to use stripes and to turn in my receipts”
“I've frequented this gas station multiple times during my work trips, and I am consistently impressed with the level of service. The staff members are always friendly, greeting me with a warm smile and a friendly hello. The bathrooms are well-maintained, reflecting the establishment's commitment to cleanliness. Moreover, the food they prepare in-house never fails to delight my taste buds; it's always delicious. I highly recommend stopping by this gas station for a positive and satisfying experience.”

“Stopped yesterday and got Subway and fuel. My wife and I drive a lot, about 50,000 miles a year, so we see a lot of gas stations. The entire staff here was just so friendly. The manager, Maria, was super helpful and kind.
The young kid working in Subway was also very friendly. Even gave some good recommendations a on how to make our sandwiches better.
We don’t normally pass through Texico and had a reroute through due to weather, but I think we will make it a normal stop for us. It was that good.”
“In 2015, after Christmas, I was heading to Santa Fe, NM, for skiing from Houston. That night, severe blizzard attacked us and my car was stuck in snow next to Allsup’s Convenient Store. I couldn’t even open the car door due to heavy wind and snow so spent the night in the freezing car. In the morning, people from the store rescued us and allowed us stay in the store for days. They let me use their table for my little daughter’s sleep, gave us a lot of blankets and thankfully we were able to use their restroom. The store became a shelter for many people stuck in snow as well. Days after, the people finally rescued my car digging the snow, too. I appreciate all people to help and save us during the blizzard.”
