“Dr. Hill & all his staff are incredibly compassionate & caring. We had a veterinary emergency this morning when our dog woke up unable to stand or walk spontaneously. We were not established patients, but when I called completely frantic they said come in immediately. He knew exactly what was wrong with my dog by examining him. He explained everything thoroughly & showed us the X-rays & went over the plan. I’ve never been to a vet who was so knowledgeable & kind. We cannot recommend him & Oak Hills Animal Hospital highly enough & will be going back for all our fur babies care. He even picked up on symptoms of a possible food allergy which had nothing to do with the reason for our visit. While our pup was sedated for his treatment they trimmed his nails & cleaned his ears too at no charge. I am forever grateful to have such an outstanding vet nearby. The prices are very fair & explained up front, even in an emergency. They didn’t charge extra for an urgent care visit which most vets do. Our beloved dog is able to walk again after just one day of treatments. Thank you!”

“Dr Hill and his staff are assistants to God. Our dog decided to eat earth, rock, and bits of tree bark that my husband had Poured the drippings from the smoker on, never expecting the dog to eat it. The dog begin throwing up to the point that he couldn't anymore. He was trembling and nearly dead, he could not hold his head up and he could not walk. His eyes were rolling back in his head. We knew if he had any hope at all, Dr. Hill could Save him. He knew as soon as we came in that Smokey had acute pancreatitis. Our dog was pretty much in intensive care for the week after finding his spleen had wrapped around his intestines and blocked him from going to the bathroom. He would not eat anything and he wouldn't drink anything. It is heartbreaking when you watch your family baby lay so lifeless because he was to the point of poison. He spent a week with the Angels at Oak Hills veterinary clinic. There are no words I can say about the amazing care that Smokey received. If you had told me the day that we took Smokey to the clinic that he would live through the night I would never have believed you. With prayers from many friends and Dr. Hill and his staff, Smokey is alive today and almost can't get enough to eat. After a couple of days home being groggy from his pain medicine, he is now alert and excited to see everyone. He goes up and down our stairs and ready to go for his walks. We drive from North Central San Antonio to Floresville because we know Dr. Hill is the greatest doctor that could ever take care of our dog. Yelp only let you give five stars. I give Dr. Hill and his staff hundreds of stars. Our dog is alive.”
