Once we were visiting and I really wanted a cat even though the adoption employees were gone the manager helped me adopt my Sofie. Recently I wanted to purchase a fish tank with cabinet the manager and another employee helped me us get it into our car.

The staff is incredibly friendly, and you can tell they genuinely care about the dogs. Our pup absolutely loves going—she gets excited every single time we pull up.

She also gave me ideas to help our cats adjust to our newest cat, Priscilla, and we are seeing everyone a lot calmer around the house. I couldn't recommend Dr. Lock more highly.

2800 Mont Clair Dr, Flower MoundAlways makes sure multiple times a week, if not everyday, to take time and call each person back to set up an appointment so they don't have to rush on the phone. The owner, Laura, drives directly to YOUR house to take care of your animals so that we don't have to go through the hassle of putting them in the car/dealing with the aftermath. (yes, she cares that much for the animals, and yourselves). She is very good with all of her clients - thats includes both the human and animal clients.ALSO, she knows MANY of the animals located within the Flower Mound area; so, if your animal gets out there's a good chance she'll recognize who the little trouble maker is and return them (it's happened more than a dozen times). Even if she doesn't initially notice (sometimes they're very dirty after running around and having fun), there have been many times she's ran her microchip reader and been able to detect which dog/cat it is. You can tell she really has a passion/gift for what she does, and does it all without complaining.BEST VETERINARIAN EVER!

2260 Morriss Rd, Flower MoundWe lived down the street from Alforno's for 15 years. This was our "go to" for a great hot sandwich or freshly made, ny-style, pizza. The owners are so sweet and always call you by name when you dine-in or pick up. My favorite thing to do was to order for pick up and then stand at the bar and have a glass of wine while they prepared it. So hard to find a good veal parm sub, but they have the best here at Alforno's. Lunch specials daily. NOT a BYOB, so don't ask as they will not allow you to bring your own wine. The menu has salads, pizzas, pastas, calzones, etc. All freshly made and delicious. This spot is a gem!

I was turning into the parking lot I saw about five or six cars in line and by the time I pulled up to the end of the line. My order was taken, I looked up and every single car was gone like magic.. When we were there, we saw quite a bit of take out orders but not too many people dine in even though it was the weekend. The owner is fun and friendly. Perhaps they’d need to improve on the menu (plastic menu instead of just a paper); the lighting (we thought the store was closed at first); providing some breads while waiting would be lovely.
Food was delicious, meat was so soft and well marinated; orca was seasoned well. I’ll come back for the food!
